I was on the search for French macarons and stopped into Bianca’s! Let me just say I walked into the right place! My boyfriend and I went a little crazy. They had 6 flavors of macarons for $ 1.79 a piece or $ 19.99 for 12. Not too bad for macarons to be honest. They were very fresh and literally melted in our mouths. They had a ton of other bakery treats so we decided to grab a couple. The dolce de leche kronut was to die for! Like YUM! Get a kronut if you go for sure. We grabbed a tiramisu, key lime tart, chocolate mousse, Napoleon bar, almond croissant, and cream puff! All delicious and fresh! Best decision we made while in Provo

We went yesterday morning as my wife had not eaten breakfast and was hungry. I like a good croissant but these were very bland. I had the spinach and egg which had a hard boiled egg that was very rubbery in one bite. Scrambled would have been much better. Some herbs and salt would also have made it more palatable. My wife and daughter shared a ham and cheese croissant which was disappointing. I bought my daughter a raspberry macaroon. It didn’t exactly melt in her mouth. Not very French at all … We immediately went a few doors down to Bruges Waffles and were happily satisfied with a waffle and frites!

Their Kro-nuts are fantastic! We tried the Bavarian cream and the raspberry filled ones! They were a tad pricey at $ 4.95 but tasted amazing

This is a really cute spot. Center St. in Provo is way cooler than it has any right to be. And Bianca’s is in the middle of the ‘action’ — if you can call it that — it is Provo after all. A landscaped median and angled parking give it a nostalgic, walkable, urban feel. Storefronts with oddities, books, and thrift items line the streets. I was primed for a European patisserie experience after peeking through the large plate glass windows on either side of the door. There is not much in the way of décor, but it is bright, super-clean, and roomy. It is an unhurried spot where families can take up room and not feel like they are going to get kicked out. I thought there might be more of a variety of goodies. But since this place hangs its hat on the«kro-nut» I ordered one. The baker told me it was a croissant shaped like a donut. They come with different fillings, but they all seemed too sweet. And I was afraid the raspberry might make the flaky deliciousness of the croissant too moist and gooey. I enjoy croissants but almost never eat them in the States because while the outside is flakey, the inside is gooey. The ones at grocery stores and big box stores absolutely always seemed uncooked inside. I gave the kro-nut a try since this establishment purports to be a French bakery. It was more than dusted with granulated sugar. I didn’t smell any fresh coffee brewing, so I didn’t order a beverage at all, though I was offered hot chocolate. I took the pastry to my car and noticed right away that it is a very soft pastry. It completely collapsed when I pinched it to tear off a piece. The consistency is like a Krispy Kreme doughnut versus a Dunkin Donut. Or white Wonder Bread versus homestyle wheat bread. The taste reminded me of Fry Bread at a county fair. The sugar was crunchy. And got everywhere. It’s not unpleasant. Just not aptly named. Nothing about this pastry is characteristic of a croissant. With tax my purchase was $ 5.38. A bit pricey, I thought. I still give the bakery a 3-star review because the baker was so pleasant; my kro-nut was fresh –still warm; it was very clean; and the location is great. I would DEFINITELY go back; I’d just try something else. I’d love to have a slice of quiche while sitting at the window reading the paper and watching passersby.

Great pastries and baked goods! But… Here is the thing about Bianca’s, is that there lacks a consistency of things. Some days, the Macarons are prime, while others they lack the crunch vs chew. It seems that I never know if it’s going to be quite amazing or not. For example, I had the Cannoli and it was on point while my wife’s chocolate macaron was pretty ehhh. Her lemon one though was much better. Why is it three stars? Because the sandwiches and pretty much everything else that is not a baked good is just not good. A restaurant or eating place needs to be consistently great at everything it does to get a high rating, in my opinion. My recommendations: Kronuts Macarons(hit or miss) Some specialty baked good Don’t order the sandwiches. Also 3 stars because the ambience is just very good. Could be much better with a little work and décor.

My husband and I love Bianca’s! The kronut is amazing obviously and we also like the macaroons and the eclairs. The best dessert they have is the chocolate cream horn in my opinion. It’s delightfully sweet without tasting too sugary like some desserts. It’s flaky, chocolatey, and creamy. The décor isn’t very nice at this point but they are still kind of new at this location. They also have some random South American drinks that are cool. My husband lived in Peru so he likes that they have inca kola.

I think their Cronuts are so dang good! I swear they put drugs in them because they’re so addicting. I kind of wish they were closer to my house or I would get some more often.

I got white chocolate macaroons, almond chocolate and Classic baklava, a chocolate éclair and a raspberry Kronut. The macaroons, though small, were awesome and I’m definitely going to be back for more. The éclair was good too, I’m not huge on eclairs to begin with but it was good I would still recommend it. I don’t really have much experience with baklava but both variations were very tasty. The Kronut. I’m definitely a fan of these pastries and this one is no exception. It wasn’t too sweet and perfect balance of light crunch on the outside and chewy croissant on the inside. I will definitely be returning! My only wish is that they were open on Sunday’s but that’s more of a locational issue than it is with the bakery :) Bön appetite!

Worst crosisant ever I got a Turkey an cream cheese, and strawberry and cream cheese croissants, total cost & $ 10.00 and a lot f disappointment. I would have demanded a refund in store but I did not bit into either crosisant until I got on I15 North bound. The Turkey had ONE deli slice of turkey and no cream cheese to be tasted. The strawberry and cream cheese did not have more that a butter knife spread strawberry and againagain no noticeable cream cheese. To top the lack of flavor off they crosisants where dry as a bone SAVEYOURMONEYORTHROWITAWAY

Prices are too high and the baked goods were not fresh, the fruits on the tarts were soggy and weeping on the cream. The cronuts were almost $ 5 each and macarons were small which were almost $ 2 each. We got only a few items and it costed us more that $ 20. The eclairs we got were not even filled. Big let down.

kind of bugs me, the cheesecake, the napoleon, are yum, and cost affordable… but then This big Fried donut, runs like 4.95? I don’t like that. same situation with the coffee… they operate a machine, you know, like one of those NESPRESSO machines… so when differentiating between the LAtte ANDREGULARDRIPCOFFEE. having a 1.50 to 2.00 price jump seems ridiculous. its very spacious. and it tastes okay.

I so wanted to love this bakery, but it left me wanting. My husband and I decided to pop in for lunch and ordered a smattering of items — the ham and Swiss croissant(to be served warm), the turkey croissant sandwich(cold), a strawberry cream cheese croissant, a fruit tart, and a raspberry kronut. It seems that they’re best known for their kronuts, which are, in my opinion, the only thing worth ordering. The rest was pretty average(my husband wished the ham and Swiss was actually warm rather than room temp, my sandwich was a little soggy and lackluster, and I wish they used real cheese rather than processed, and the other two desserts were very so-so). The kronut tasted very good, however, so if you’re looking for somewhere in Utah county who sells them, I’d come here.

Cutest little roomy bakery! Much like the bakery my review will be quick, clean and petite. My review is strictly based on the 2 mini macaroons I had here. I will definitely need to update my review when I return here in a few days to try one of every bakery item. So the only things I know about macaroons are that they are extremely cute, beautiful and almost too perfect to eat. I also know that the only other macaroon I’ve eaten was from Bouchon Bakery in Las Vegas… and I actually liked Bianca’s a lot more. They were perfectly flavored and not too sweet. There is just something about that chewy brownie like texture that I love. I came here on a Saturday and when I first walked pass the bakery there was a line of people almost to the front door. The inside is pretty bare and open, not much décor. They offer about 20 or so different bakery items, ice cream, coffee and soda. The prices are pretty average($ 1 – 5 per item). Not only do I recommend this place but I highly recommend taking a walk down Center street in Provo to see all the little businesses.

I visited several weeks ago and it has taken me a while to actually write the review. I was originally going to give them three stars, but with the distance of time, I’d rather give them the benefit of the doubt and boost it up to four. At the time of my visit, there was a sign outside their store inviting potential customers to come in and try their kronuts. To be polite, I decided to accept their invitation. Just kidding. They had me at kronut. I got the chocolate kronut, some vanilla macarons, and a beef empanada. I loved the beef empanada and the macarons. They were perfect. The empanada was all sorts of delicious nostalgia for me for a time when I was much more involved in the Latin world. The macarons were as good as any I’ve had anywhere, and as a major macaron fan, I’ve had them more places than I can count. However, I thought the kronut was a bit greasy for a pastry – as if it had been allowed to soak in a little too much oil during the frying process. It was fun to try it, but I wouldn’t go back for it. I will go back, though, for the macarons and empanadas, and they also had tons of other things that looked amazing.

I’ve been twice since they opened. If I could, I would have awarded them 4.5 stars. Their Kro-nuts are to die for. I’ve tried their raspberry and lemon kro-nuts and while they were both delicious, the raspberry was my favorite. The filling is more mousse-like, which was an unexpected surprise, but the texture complimented the pastry nicely. Their macarons are good. Not the best, but pretty good. They’re smaller than average and the flavor, while good, didn’t quite have the punch of the macarons I usually get at the farmer’s market. Ham and cheese pastry and beef empanadas were some of the best I’ve had since I moved from DC(where some of my favorites are). They’re a little pricy for something that’s kind of on the small side, but I’m still going back for more later.

Bianca made my tres leches wedding cake and it was absolutely delicious! It was much more affordable then other places and she made it exactly how I wanted it. She even delivered it to the reception(even though it wasn’t too far from the bakery). I would recommend her cakes to anybody. Five stars all the way!

My son liked the chocolate«kro-nut»(croissant donut filled with chocolate crème), but at $ 5 it is a bit pricey.
