I just love kitchen and kitchen gadgets. I could spend hours in this store just browsing and checking out all the cool kitchen and cool stuff for cooking and entertaining. I wish I had a bigger kitchen and storage at home so I could buy more to bring home.

I’ve found great things I couldn’t live without for a house and two apartments over the past several years. A pleasure to shop there! Lots of things you didn’t know you needed, friendly and efficient staff, prices and shipping services are great. Good for basics, too!

This store just oozes fun. Nominally, it is a kitchen wares store but in reality is so much more. And while you can find some very nice things like dishes, glasses, pots and pans, aprons, cocktail shakers and cookbooks there are other unique and quirky items that are eye-catching and suddenly become things that«I have to have!!». I just love stopping in here and always leave with something even if it’s just a smile on my face. On this latest visit I bought several packs of humorous cocktail napkins.(I buy ones I like wherever I see them. I love using them and they make great hostess gifts.) Whether you’re looking for gifts or a treat for yourself, Utilities inspires with a broad assortment of home goods. On this visit I was enamored by some of the whimiscal trays they had. I love having trays on hand at home because one or another of them is in use regularly. As well, I loved the brightly colored colanders and nautical serving platters. Many items are truly unique while some other things you can find at similar stores. But overall, the presentation and assortment of things for your home or Provincetown beach cottage is hard to beat. It is well worth my time to stop in whenever I’m in town.

If you like cooking, you will be in heaven. Tons of nifty gadgets and trinkets that you might not find in a more mainstream store(like a Bed Bath and Beyond).

Had a bunch of things I didn’t know I needed, great store for people who cook. Prices were reasonable, although the placemats we bought can be had a big box store for ¼ of the price. Oh well, nice to support small business. Great place for gifts.

Really cute store with kitchen and some bath accessories. I didn’t end up buying anything but everything was cheaper than expected and they even had some handmade cups, bowls and plates from a local potter.

Another one of my favorite types of stores to browse in — you see these little kitchen-y stores in these types of towns all the time. I love them. Totally stuffed to the gills with all kinds of awesome kitchen gadgets, plates, cups, silverware, linens, and maybe some dips or sauces too. Great little store. Very very cool stuff here you won’t find at your local mall or Crate + Barrell.

I told my husband I wanted to move into the store! Everything is so colorful and fun and functional!!! The store is chock full of household and kitchen items and it would be the perfect place to buy a gift for that someone who has everything. I’m a sucker for colorful housewares and if there’s something you need(or perhaps even something you don’t) I think you’d have fun exploring the store. The staff was very helpful when I requested an item they didn’t have on the floor(the items were on display but the staff didn’t want to sell me the display) and they went through all of their stock in order to pull out two«never been on the floor» items. Nice work! Check them out… the store might be packed a bit overwhelming at first but even just wandering around the store, looking at all the«toys» is fun. =)!

I always find something I need here– once it was the last chicken fryer known to man(cast iron) — once it was a small set of cheese plates that matched my larger ones– and last year it was a set of plastic(yes, plastic) wine glasses that are sturdy and attractive. Allow more time that you think you might need– there are treasures hidden everywhere.

After registering for the wedding so recently at a Big Box Store, walking into any kitchen/household type store is a little too much for me. But on a recent jaunt to P-town, Utilities overcame my aversion. It’s super cute! It also has all the really weird kitchen stuff– dish scrubber with disco-esque steel wool afro and big sunglasses? shower curtain with nearly life-sized guy doing pushups? onion goggles? Yep. Sweetie bought some melamine plates with sea creatures on them… they’re funky and she likes them and that’s what matters, right?

OK, so as anyone that has been with a group of Unilocalers knows, Trying to get the entire group of Unilocaler going in the same direction is like trying to call BINGO at an ADHD convention. «Did he just say B — fifte– I like that sweater on you!» Or, «Gee, I only need one more square over there and i will– I need to remember to change the oil in my grandmothers car.» You get the idea… I had been to this place(like most of the others) before the P-town invasion, but it was Roni that wandered in there bringing the group in behind her like a mother duck. Many people wonder why she would go into this place when there is a perfectly good Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Boston, but this place has a bit more of an edge. Think cake servers in the shape of a high heeled shoe. Think cute and silly shower curtains, need an Adirondack chair napkin rings. Think martini glasses that store your drink in the base so it doesn’t spill. This is P-town, so think of a small, fun, tongue-in-cheek version of Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They have neat little gadgets and fun, yet functional items. They have nice glass and dinnerware, and silly melamine plates and acrylic cups you won’t get mad if company drops on your porch or deck. Come in and browse around, the staff is sweet with a sense of humor. Make sure you pick things up and look at the price tags. Things you may think are cheap might be expensive, and some things you think are expensive can actually be so reasonably priced you want to buy it and sneak out of the store quick before someone realized they priced it wrong.
