A hole in the wall kind of place with varieties of puzzles and games and other things. Found my inspiration of a Christmas present for my mom — one of those puzzle vases that is now collecting dust as we speak. And an impossible you-are-now-banned-from-buying-puzzles-for-family-gatherings for my boy’s annual Thanksgiving dinner. A very neat let me look at this/let me touch that/let me buy all sorts of Yahtzee scoring papers and cups I can throw dice out of kind of place. Check it out.

This store makes going into P-Town and dealing with the crowds worth it. Great selection of puzzles, board games, coloring books, decks of cards, etc. The only two stops my family has to make in Provincetown are the penny candy store and Puzzle me This.

Puzzle Me This is a wonderful find on Commercial Street in Provincetown. The store may seem a bit out of place as its surrounded by various eateries and clothing shops, but I assure you that business is booming. Puzzle Me This sells all kinds of games for people of all ages. They’ve got regular puzzles, 3D puzzles, board games and playing cards. They even sell collectible cards such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon and Magic The Gathering. If you’re on vacation and need something to keep you busy on a rainy day, visit this store. I guarantee you’ll find something to pass the time.

You might be thinking, «What’s a game store doing in P’town?» But you can’t be at restaurants or bars or clubs all the time. Puzzle Me This was an unexpected find! This place has the type of selection I tend to expect in game stores in much larger cities — and then some! Their inventory includes large selections of puzzles, brain teasers, card games, kids toys and games, classic games and popular strategy games. We’ve also found some harder-to-find old gems of games here. There really is something for everybody here. The staff is pretty up to date as well on what’s new and popular. While you might be able to buy some of the games here for a bit less if you were shopping around or online, it’s places like these where I’m willing to pay to get something in my greedy little paws if I want it RIGHTNOW, and I’ll always take an opportunity to patronize independent game stores.

A toy store for kids and adults. I found a chinese jump rope and had to buy it, haven’t seen one in decades. I have hopes that I can teach my 9 year old son how to use it. IN-OUT-SIDE-TO-SIDE-ON-IN-OUT. I’m still talking about the chinese jump rope, that’s one of the ways I jumped it and said it loudly as I was jumping. This is definitely the place to buy puzzles. I’m not talking about jigsaw puzzles,(they do have those too), I’m talking about puzzles that’ll blow your mind to smithereens trying to figure them out. All kinds of fun games, books and toys for all ages.

I’m not a big board game fan, per say, but I am so glad we have stores like Puzzle Me This in Provincetown and NOT the big box stores like Target and God forbid… Walmart. These guys are so cool and I just love their business. Hope they stay in business for a long time.

You wouldn’t expect to find a board games and puzzle store in the middle of Provincetown, but there it is. Their selection is generally good and interesting(I ended up finding and getting Angry Birds card/dice game), and it’s quite the nice place to find a good game to play, whether in Provincetown, or on the way back in the car/ferry. So yes, Puzzle Me This is quite awesome.

Great selection of board games and puzzles. Does not seem to have the usual P-town policy of adding an extra 20% onto the cost of everything. A wide selection.

My boyfriend has to drag me out of Puzzle Me This each time! They have an awesome selection of board games, dice games, card games, puzzles, toys and Ugly Dolls. You name it! Games for all age groups! My favorite and highly suggested games are: Munchkin(all versions) Anomia Settlers of Catan Bananagrams You NEED these games. I am sure I will add others as I remember them. But yes, this store is amazing! I try to support them as much as I can.

OMG, I have died and gone to games heaven! I was so glad I decided to break off from the group for a bit and go shopping after I discovered this store. They literally have every board game/puzzle you could imagine. I walked in and had a good feeling about my quest… You see, it all started a few years ago when one of my BFFs from back home told me about this game she got called True Colors. It’s a get to know you game, blah blah blah, so much fun, yada yada yada… I knew then and there I would have liked it and had to have it. Three years, countless game stores, toy stores, speciality shops, etc later… still no game. Sure, I could have gotten it off of Amazon or something of the sort… but the quest to find this game in a store became a game in and of itself… like a scavenger hunt… enter Puzzle Me This! I walked right in, found a staff member, asked him if they had it and he goes«of course!» as if I asked him about a game so popular it might as well have been Monopoly. Thank you, Puzzle Me This, for being stocked full of fun and interesting games… I wish I could have stayed and explored more, but am so so so happy to have my new game I could squeal!

Every once in a while you find a game store that really exceeds what you were expecting. If you need a game, they have it, plus all of its different versions and spinoffs. So many options and assortments to keep you busy looking at. Prices were pretty fair too. Obviously WalMart sells classic monopoly for $ 14.90, so a $ 19.99 price point here is reasonable, considering the location. The extra couple bucks is totally worth it to support a store that carries such an extensive assortment. If you are in PTown during the off season, picking up a neat game is probably one of the best ways to spend your time. If I come during the busy season, it probably will still be, as I’m not much of a party type. And to the previous review mentioning having no Skip-Bo(dated last year), I’m positive I saw it a few months ago when I visited, so perhaps they saw your post? ;)

Awesome, awesome, awesome toy store. These are the kinds of places I like to do my Christmas shopping for the nieces and nephews because you will find stuff here that you can’t find in a mall or Toys R Us. Small-ish place but chock-full of nice puzzles, board games, toys, brain teasers, some stuffed animals and puppets, etc. I thought it was just awesome and picked up a few things for Christmas. They even have a few of the puzzle-games out for you to demo — and one of them sold me on it and I actually bought it! Fun store. One of my favorties on the main drag here.

Liz knows I’m a nerd. And after parading through the sex shoppes and head shoppes and ice creameries(OHMY!) of P-town, she pulls me through the doors of yet another store to find… … what’s this? what’s THIS? … Holy shit, it’s the Mecca for Mensa. The spot for a mind bender’s bender. The Xanadu of Can-ya-do? Oh that was good, admit it. Truly a puzzler’s delight — wall to wall board and card games, blacksmith head scratchers, books, hosted murder mysteries, travel kits, and jigsaws(2– and 3-D!) The prices are reasonable, especially for the prime Commercial Street locale, and the store will always be packed for the same reason. I flexed my prowess, trying to impress the lady with a no-look removal of the ring from two chained horseshoes. Should have just recited all usable Pokemon alphabetically, it would have gotten the same response: rolled eyes and a sighed«Whatever.» In all fairness, I have to dock a full star for the noted absence of Encyclopedia Brown, Sally Kimball and Bugs Meany. Buuuuut they get a half star back for having the greatest dice game in the history of ever — LCR. Fuck it, let’s round up. Uyo dha em ta lolhe.

Ok, here’s the scenario. You’re in Ptown for a week and have gotten wastiez 4 days in a row. If you’re like me, a wuss/old person, you need a break. So you sheepishly approach your lady friend and admit defeat. «Honey? Can we skip Vixen tonight and do something a little lower-key? Maybe play some Apples to Apples with the girls next door or do a puzzle or something?» And you head over to Puzzle Me This. They have a great selection of puzzles(duh) and some board games to boot. They also have a solid rack of New York Times crossword books, a must for the beach. So check it out when you need a break from being a boozehound in Ptown.
