I was craving for Chinese after work, and stopped by just because it’s down the street from me. They are very nice and food was made on time, unlike others Chinese take-out, Wok N Roll was not as greasy! Thumbs up!!!

Quick delivery but the rice tasted old… The chicken fingers were okay. Beef and broccli was gross! I told the lady on the phone I didn’t have cash ONLY then did they decide they could take my card… But only this one time next time you must pay in cash. I bet they don’t document all their income… Rude! Prices reflect gross food.

It’s not five star. I haven’t found five star in providence delivery. It is good though. It does the trick and I like being able to order Spanish and Chinese at the same time. Also, it is very consistent. I’ve been going here for years. I probably would order it to share when I’m having company over, but would definitely order when I don’t feel like cooking.

I haven’t had a wide range of dishes here but any I have had have been pretty bad, the one thing I have had that I considered good was the veggie eggroll and that is a bit heavy on the cabbage and I suspect straight from freezer to fryolator. Very cheap though.

It’s cheap and easy here, but since chang jiang is around, I just haven’t bothered eating here anymore…

Wow. I totally cannot believe the hate this joint is receiving! I can honestly say that they were one of our two Chinese staples when we lived on Broadway(for delivery as opposed to takeout). Here’s the shizzle. Wok isn’t your typical Chinese takeout: with an incredibly varied array of combos on their menu, their overall style is a mix of urbanized Chinese & Spanish«quick» food. The fried rice for example is delicious but for those expecting the usual Americanized taste, they simply may or may not enjoy it as the seasonings are a hodgepodge mix of Latin and Chinese. Think of it as «Latinized Chinese.» Another good example are the fried chicken wings: super yummy but totally not even close to an Asian flavour. The prices are reasonable, the delivery is prompt and the service relatively friendly. The food itself is generally fresh: of the dozens of times I’ve ordered from them, I’ve never felt a rumble in my stomach. I love their broccoli in garlic sauce: sweet, tangy and crunchy and their rice is spicy and tasty. However my favourite item of all, are the platanos. Absolutely delicious, especially the fried ones. Sure the food hasn’t blown me through the roof but overall, they offer tasty food, a decent menu and cheap, prompt service. However, buyer beware– it’s definitely an acquired taste that may not please those looking for a strictly«chicken finger and gravy» sort of affair.

I almost forgot that I ordered from this place months ago while at work and I ended up tossing it all in the garbage. It was the most disgusting chinese food ever. Worse than Chef Ho’s, worse than little chopsticks. Like I said it before and I will say it again, the chinese food offerings in Providence leave a lot to be desired, difficult at best to find some edible, decent chinese food and you waste quite a bit of money in between.

Alright so let me state that the ONLY pro working in favor of this place is that the food is dirt cheap. However as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. My girlfriend and I were looking to a chinese place aside from Little Chopsticks and Wok n Roll was brought to our attention by the menus being mailed around. I had suspicions when I saw things like«fried plantanes» in the menu however based on reviews from some other sites I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say that was a horrible idea! Both sweet and sour chicken and General Tso’s chicken were ordered, the chick is processed garbage, the likes of which you can purchase in your grocery store’s frozen foods section, marketed as «General Tso’s chicken». It is all batter and no actual meat, the sauces leave a lot to be desired, the fried rice is absolutely tasteless, and the egg rolls taste like they’re fresh from your local McDonalds. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone for take out, and sitting in… there is no atmosphere/no attempts at such.
