Soooooo. I love your products. Your coffee is amazing. Your croissants are to die for BUT… I am so disappointed in your customer service. I totally get it. You have a bunch of crazy people that are fiending for caffeine that dealing with them must be hard. OR… maybe you are in-between things and trying make ends meet. OR maybe I was just not the person you wanted to talk to after a long line of ungrateful jerks that ruined you. Really, I get it. Dealing with the public sucks. Unfortunately, there is no excuse for being a total jerk. When we entered there was no one behind the counter and no one was in line so we went straight to the register. My friend ordered a drink and instead of asking me if I would like anything you just walked away. When I stopped you and made my order you seemed PISSED. Sorry, I thought this was a coffee shop. Then, still no one in line, we ordered two croissants and two biscuits. You starred at us blankly. I asked«you do sell biscuits, right?» Again, super pissed you stormed off to retrieve them. When my friend asked if we could substitute one croissant for a chocolate croissant you looked like you were about to go into orbit. Once at the register you put on your super smarmy, over the top, GTFO sappy sweet attitude. I get it. Bad day. Just FYI I freaking tipped you and cleaned up a spill by another customer. So yeah I hope you are having a better day. I am. Also I will never go there again. Congrats, maybe thats what you wanted.

I love 7 This place should have 7 stars but alas, Unilocal only allows for 5. I think their coffee is alright, but the real gem of course is the pastries and don’t forget about the breads. They have an amazing multigrain bread which is awesome toast. They also have this queen e mon pastry, I forget the actual name, but it’s like honey and milk and pastry and sweet and delicious.

Seven Stars is one of my favorite bakery/cafes in Providence. Among all the Seven Stars locations, I think this one is my favorite. Parking can be a bit troublesome at times(especially during peak work from home hours/weekends). Fortunately I live in the area, so it’s rarely an issue for me. If you do need parking, there’s 2 spaces around the back and a bunch of street parking. Coffee is always delicious and includes free refills if regular brewed coffee is your thing. Pastries include a lot of seasonal items plus your typical pastries(croissants etc.). The cheddar biscuit is one of my favorites. Moving onto the bread– oh the bread. It’s so tasty. Cheddar bread, soudough bread, olive bread. Try all of them, but the french rye and olive bread are my favorites. Sometimes barista service can be a bit slow, especially during peak hours. It’s to be expected, but just be aware that they’re not going to turn around drinks at super-fast if you’re in a rush.

Best of the Best! Most consistently amazing! Seven Stars never lets you down. I especially love the friendly staff at all of their 3 locations. Jesse, Mark, Brittney. your all STARS! It’s also my favorite place to meet up with friends to catch up with them. really it’s the perfect place for that sort of thing. SSB is like my Cheers! I never liked scones until I had one from here. Scones are different here. If you’ve never enjoyed scones in the past I encourage your to try one from here! The cranberry pecan one is my absolute favorite! And now I’m gushing so I’ll stop. Enjoy!

Amazing. Had an almond croissant which was so fresh and delicious and a cinnamon roll which was a little crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, perfection. Everything looks amazing and they have a great bread selection.

The sticky buns are amazing — fresh, sweet, nice toasty crisp on the top but still has that soft, doughy taste and feel inside. So good! The Vermont cheddar cheese bread is also delicious. Great for turkey or ham sandwiches.

Best bakery in RI, as far as I’m concerned. If I’m in need of a good loaf of bread, my go-to is their durum loaf in either it’s stick(good for sandwiches or garlic bread) or round(good to bring to dinner parties or holiday gatherings) form. It’s perfectly crusty and chewy. And it makes awesome croutons if you ever have any leftover(a rare occurrence). I haven’t had a baked good here that isn’t perfectly delicious. I just bought a house around the corner and I’d been going every morning because I hadn’t unpacked my coffee mugs yet… getting a coffee(so strong and tasty… with milk, cream, soy, and almond milk offerings off to the side) and a pastry for breakfast. I found my mugs yesterday… but I’m still going for something to munch on. I can’t stop thinking about their muffins!!! I had a gingerbread one the other day that was so delicately spiced and they totally used fresh ginger because I could see the fibers. That’s awesome. That’s what I’m talking about. I’ll end this review the way I started it: Best bakery in RI, as far as I’m concerned.

I went to this bakery around 7:30 on a Monday morning and was impressed with the short line and speed of the service. They handle the morning coffee rush well. The shop was cute, well-decorated, clean, and it was easy to find somewhere to sit. The quality of the coffee and the food was just so-so though. I ordered a cappucino(and later returned for a mocha) and both were satisfactory but nothing outstanding. I also got a cheese danish for breakfast and it was a little bit dry but pretty good. I’d return if I needed some coffee and am in the area, but it’s not somewhere I’d seek out for its quality of food or drink.

Sunday, 10:00AM. Quickie: + Coffee quality + Menu + Service – Cleanliness – Slow turnaround And then??? There’s so much more to try on the menu. ********** Stuffed my face in: 1. Iced latte with honey — Just a dab of that bee’s goodness next time. 2. Sticky bun — Too sweet for me. Constructive comments: *Sticky bun with no pecans *Option for compost

I love Seven Stars. It is warm and sunny in here on even the coldest day. The servers are always very friendly and helpful. The coffee is delicious and you can’t go wrong with their hot chocolate. There are ample places to sit and the vibe is lower key than the high-octane Hope Street location. The bread is delicious(the rye bread is a favorite and country bread is perfect for stuffing) and the pastries are great. I love the berry muffin, which has a delicious hint of lemon. The apple cranberry danish is amazingly delicious and perfect for fall. Can’t get enough!

Seven Stars Bakery is deliciousness all over the place! My usual stop is simply for a coffee in the morning. It can be really busy in there in the morning; I’ve always been impressed with how they keep up with the flow of customers. There are usually at least 5 baristas on staff during the rush hour. This location offers ample seating inside and outside has about 5 tables. The West Side corner is really nice to people watch at so I highly recommend sitting outside on a nice day. Now…for the deliciousness! You really can not go wrong with the selection of muffins, cookies, cinnamon buns, biscuits and quiche that is offered in there large display case. I have been mesmerized for it seems minutes at times just gazing in at all the beautiful treats. My favorites are the cheddar cheese biscuit, star ginger cookie and any of the seasonal muffins. They also offer freshly baked bread in many sizes, shapes, colors and styles :) What’s great is that Seven Stars has 3 locations and also are at the Saturday farmers markets at the Hope Artiste Village(winter) and Lippitt Park(summer). Definitely a place you can make your favorite coffee shop!

I mostly love this place. The baked goods are great, and I have had many breakfasts on Seven Stars pastries. I do wish they had an option that I could buy in bulk so that I could take a dozen cookies or some similar option to the office or to a party, but there is nothing affordable enough to buy so many of. I do have a problem with the service, as I generally feel like I’m getting served a side of pretentiousness with my food. It’s as if the employees have determined that I’m not good enough to eat the products but realize they must begrudgingly serve me anyway. Lose the attitude, people.

If you come to Providence and don’t make a stop at Seven Stars, you’re doing something wrong. 2 words– cheddar biscuits. These things are insanely delicious. I mean they also have breads, pastries, sandwiches, quiche, coffee, tea… But those cheddar biscuits. The ham and cheese croissant is prettyyyyyyy(very) delicious, too. Anyhow, the atmosphere here is lovely and here are tables outside for nice days as well as plenty of street parking. Seriously, go here. Wait– and the ginger tea is honestly the best tea I’ve ever had. Drink that.

If Seven Stars had wifi, I’d never leave. All in all, this is a great meet up place. It is a neighborhood landmark, a place with great service, great pastries and delicious coffee(with free refills).

I love this place! Doesn’t matter which location either… they’re all great! Can’t leave here without a loaf of bread. My favs are the olive loaf & the raisin bread… mmmm! Don’t forget their teas & coffee. Great variety. And the lattes & cappuccinos are made right. Just wish it was closer. Maybe it’s a good thing they’re not… diet sabotage for sure!

Best Mocha Callebaut & cinnamon roll I have ever had. Tons of people come here for a reason. It’s 11:30am on a Friday and packed with people of all ages. Friendly staff/baristas that make the coolest designs on ur lattes. Tons of pastries and sandwiches to pick from. Feel of Europe when I’m here, absolutely love it. Will be back again and again.

We came in here for some pastries and coffee. And let me tell you… this place delivers ton of pastries and coffeesque drinks. I loved my raspberry crumb bar with my coffee. My sister enjoyed her cinnamon roll but wished it had more ewyy gooey. Overall this is a solid choice if you are in the Fed Hill area and want something sweet.

Great food, great service, good prices, fabulous atmosphere. Seven Stars Bakery is my go-to spot when I am in the neighborhood. My personal favorite is the little quiches. So tasty. They have a nice variety of flavors. The cookies and brownies are also very yummy.

This place is an all around crowd pleaser — perfect latte & delicious lemon scone/muffin. The lemony goodness that we tasted had a nice crumbly yet dense top and a light, muffin like bottom. A perfect combo with a strong latte. This establishment has a variety of baked goods and breads at reasonable prices for the quality. The staff was also very friendly and you could tell that every coffee drink was made with precision!
