Riccotti’s of Federal Hill

Ordered the Caesar salad. Got iceberg lettuce with parmesan and a wedge of lemon. The quality reflected he price… cheap. The sandwiches looked okay and the guys I went with said they were such. The hotel valet sent us there for a local, quick, good and affordable lunch. The guy at the restaurant told us to tell Manny, the hotel valet, that he’d call him later. I am never taking restaurant advice from Manny again.

Went there within the past few months and was extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. The Italian sub was almost inedible. I ate less that half and threw the other half in the garbage. I cannot remember another time in my sandwich-​loving life that I have ever thrown a sandwich out. Perhaps it’s the new management, or an off day, but the quality of the cold cuts and sandwich left much to be desired.

Ricotti’s is exactly what you want if you are looking for very large portions for a very small price.
My boyfriend loved his hot steak combo with mushrooms, peppers, and onions. I got a deluxe Italian, and it was good, but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of balance in the flavors. It tasted overwhelmingly of the banana peppers, which I love, but I couldn’t really taste anything else. It was lacking in the other vegetables which I feel are required in an Italian: green peppers, onions, black olives… even though I requested EVERYTHING.
The gentleman who was alone behind the counter when I ordered was a pleasant, hard worker. I didn’t mind waiting while he constructed our sandwiches, and especially enjoyed watching him make the steak sub, as I could tell the ingredients were fresh and quality.
All-​in-​all, three stars. It didn’t leave me craving more, but I will definitely be back when I’m hungry and don’t want to spend big to get big.

I have never been here until today but walked by it a million times. I got a ham, egg and cheese today and it was delicious. Not to mention, it was only $ 2.75! Thats cheaper than Dunkin Donuts and it was a freshhh cracked egg! It was ready in 5 minutes and the bagel was fresh. I will go back to try lunch sometime.

Good for a quick Italian Sub. There’s a sign on the door saying «Under new management» The place actually looked closed and a little sad like it was «off season»

The tuna here is the bomb! The rest of the subs are all delicious.

Sandwiches are damned good, large, and cheap. Great place to go into for a quick bite to eat.
