PVD Juice Co. is awesome. Why? Well, other than the fact that their juices and smoothies are DELICIOUS, they’re also a completely sustainable operation — from the local foods used in their products to the solar-powered truck, they’ve obvs kept to their mission: «promote the health of bodies, communities and the planet.» Oh yea, did I mention they’re a food truck? Swoon… I’ve had the pleasure of tasting a variety of their deliriously good concoctions each Wednesday at the Hope Street Farmers’ Market. I’ve downed the watermelon-strawberry smoothie that was like a fruit-filled slushy; the pear, date, and almond milk smoothie(most delicious thing EVER); and one damn refreshing lemonade. The fact that these potions are organic just adds to my adoration. J’adore! Each smoothie is $ 5, which is mildly pricey but if you consider what you’re getting, it’s totally worth it. The juices are $ 4 and the lemonades are $ 3. They also have treats for kids like juices and whatnot for slightly less, I think $ 2.50 — $ 4. I love this damn truck. And it just happens to be Wednesday, so you’ll have to excuse me…
