I love this place. I never go to food trucks because as a New Yorker I am always leery of cleanliness. These people use gloves which automatically sold me. I recommend the Vermonter and the Cuban sandwich. They have I think 8 sandwiches in total and I will definitely have each one. It’s $ 8 a sandwich but its soooo worth it.

I wasn’t really impressed by MootzaDeli. Disclaimer: I am pretty sure my experience was heavily effected by the«kid» working the order window… I stood at the window for a good 3 minutes waiting to order while, said«kid», seemed to be avoiding me. He then greeted me with, «do you need something?» to which I replied, «yeah, I’d like to order if that’s ok» to which he replied«(pause)…uh…yeah…ok…do you want to order something?» At this point, I’m trying my hardest not to reach up and smack some focus into this kid’s brain. Moving on… They only had one vegetarian offering this particular day and it just wasn’t what I was in the mood for so I planned to modify one of the other sandwiches and just get extra greens instead of the meat(I do this frequently at other places), well the kid working the window basically insulted me and was like, «that’s not going to be very good.» Whatever kid, I’m the customer, just make my damn sandwich. So ordering complete, I proceeded to wait a full 15 minutes for the puniest, $ 8 sandwich on the greasiest, grilled brioche bun, I’ve ever had. Boo.

Sandwiches are great! I had one with a potato latke on it and it was a really cool idea! The pretzels are to DIEFOR! So airy and tasty and the spicy mustard really gives it a great kick! Excited to try something else on the menu next time I see them around town!

I’ve eaten at the Mootzadeli truck twice and both times were great. The first time I got the namesake sandwich. I asked him to leave the cheese off and he asked me if I wanted him to replace it with a thick slab of a tasty tomato(which I did). The pesto on this sandwich was great. like so great, he should sell containers of it. I would buy that and eat it with a spoon right out of the tub. The bread. Oh my word, the bread this guy has on his truck is made by angels. The 2nd time I ate here, I ordered the special of the day which was lemon-pepper chicken(which was so moist and tender it almost made me weep) with braised rainbow chard that caused a garlicky party to break out right in my mouth. Did I mention how good the bread was? Do yourself a favor and check this truck out. The guy who runs it is pretty cool, and the people working with him couldn’t be friendlier. But really, the best part is how good the sandwiches are. I’m going to try the hasher next.

Clean, organized & of course, tasty! I order The Hasher for lunch which is an herbed Potato Latke, Caramelized Shallots, Cheddar Cheese Mesclun Greens & an Egg over medium served on a light brioche bun. We also added bacon(why not, right?)? The flavors blended impeccably well, the roll was a little flaky and not chewy at all.
