Staff friendly, they took me and a friend in fairly quick as walk-ins. My nail tech finished my nails first so i had to wait 10 mins for my friend to be done. The space it’s self is crampy, you have to squeeze by people which could make an unrelaxed setting. Most likely wouldn’t come back, but was worth the girl time for a pedi :)

Walked in on a Thursday afternoon, didn’t call ahead. The reception or one of the employee was not that nice just asked what kind of service I want. After I sat done and showed her the picture of how I wanted to have my nails done. They don’t have the color I want nor the type of metal or crystal I wanted. I went with what they have, and when the girl was doing my nails, she asked how many crystal I wanted on my nails, and I told her two. After she putted on, I wanted to add one more. She gave me that annoyed look and asked me not nicely, how many exactly I wanted. Yes, the price probably was the lowest and they gave me student discount. But I did not like their service, I didn’t felt welcomed. I have have my nails done probably in every nail salon I could find, this one I would not go back again just cuz of the service. And one of the crystal fell out right after I got home. Great!

Been here a handful of times over a few years. I return because my previous experiences have been pleasant. Today: 2 stars. Impersonal, almost rude service today. Downright brutal with my mani/pedi. I say nothing because clearly she doesn’t care. Too bad because other nail techs seem to be treating their clients nicely today. My heels — I could have done a better job at home, myself. I’ll go elsewhere next time.

Pedicures dont remove all of the calluses. There is no rigorous cleaning of the foot. She takes ger time and barely touches or scrub your feet. They can be more thouhtfull in actually wanting their client to leave with a clean foot rather than«I just wet my feet an polished it» feel. Service to your client should be 1st!

This is the best manicure I have gotten in years! I live in Massachusetts but I drive to Providence once a month that it how good this place is. I usually get shellac with a design and I am always impressed by the work. S.K. is amazing! Everyone is good but if you want a killer design you have to go with S.K. They also offer a student discount which is just another thing to love. It’s always busy though so a call ahead is suggested if you do not want to wait.

A couple of friends and I have been trying different local nail salons for months now. Each time at least one of us was unhappy with the result. Metro nails is the first place we have all been happy every time we have come! These ladies are very nice, hardworking, and can do almost any nail design you want! They take time on each nail and make sure you are completely satisfied before you leave! They are very busy, so make sure to make an appointment, especially if there is more than one of you going!

I’ve found my new nail spot in Providence and I couldn’t be happier! The women that work at Metro Nails are all very friendly and do an amazing job. It is THE spot to get a manicure or pedicure. If you’re a student, they even offer a student discount. Even if you’re not a student and you feel like being pampered, but don’t want to break the bank, look no further. Everything they use is clean and they seem to actually care if you have a good experience. A regular full shellac manicure with no discount is $ 30. I haven’t had to make an appointment because I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes. I’ll surely be back every few weeks to update my manicure!

The ladies here are very professional, detail oriented, and have good customer service. I also have never ever had gel nails last longer than a week on me because I’m hard on my hands. I had mostly given up on gel nails but tried one more time here and they do an amazing job. My gels last three to four weeks which I am very impressed and happy with. I do have one minor complaint which is you have to make an appointment here for the most part and usually getting my nails done is a last minute decision for me so I end up waiting half an hour; however it does say something that they are so busy you need an appointment.

Home for the holidays and figured I would pop into a local nail salon for my normal gel mani and French polish. I arrived early and waited until my 3 o’clock time slot. It was NYE so I can’t completely fault the staff, however a few things I was dissatisfied with. I already had gel on my nails, so one tech wrapped them to remove. I was left for maybe. 15 – 20 minuets waiting. Another tech came and sat and started peeling my gel off with her thumb! stop. Gross. How the heck am I suppose to know you washed your hands… Or let alone your nails. Gross. Gross. Gross. After that tech realized her nails wouldn’t do the trick, she rewrapped my nails to then disappear. Fast forward 5 – 10 minuets later, the original tech came back, used the proper tools and finished the job. The station I sat at was to the left of the door, almost hidden behind the wall where chairs are seated. The station was disgusting. It needed a good clean and some disinfectant wipes. For finding this place on Unilocal,it was terrible… Just not the best. Subpar service, my nails look okay, and the prices weren’t terrible. I will stick to my normal salon in DC and pay double the price for amazing quality, cleanliness and service.

This is by far the only place to get your nails done. The staff is super courteous, friendly, and professional. They treated my 4 year old daughter so special when we went in to get her nails done on Christmas Eve(her special treat for being good and taking all her medicine after an ear infection.) What an amazing job! They were so nice even though my daughter kept moving while they drew snowflakes on her tiny nails. I will NEVER go anywhere else!

I’ve been coming here for the last 3 months and I haven’t had any problems at all. I always make an appt and never have had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen by someone. I wouldn’t walk in, as it gets really busy and I could imagine waiting for an hour during peak times. I never feel rushed when I am here either. It’s clean and they actually know what they are doing. Prices are very reasonable– remember to tip in cash. I’ve never had a pedicure here, but all of my manicures and fills have come out beautifully.

OMG the most amazing manicure that I’ve had! This has lasted 2 weeks with barely a chip. Regular manicure, not gel. Unbelievable; I’ve felt so girly showing my beautiful nails all over the place! My sister had a lackluster pedicure though, so I believe that it really is subject to who you get… but I honestly will travel from NYC to here for a perfect $ 10 manicure. Well… when I’m in the ‘hood…but honestly, AMAZING!

I cannot stop singing the praises of this spot. Every time I go, the nail technicians are so careful and do an amazing job. I can tell that they really take pride in their work. They’re talented at designs and always have the newest machines for gel and shellac. I think that getting an appointment is always a good idea, but I’ve never had trouble walking in, with the exception of prom season. They always seem to find a way to fit people in. You might not be able to sit next to your best friend for a manicure or pedicure, but it’s so relaxing that you’ll forget all that«important talk» you needed to have in the first place. I highly recommend getting gel or shellac here over traditional manicures. It costs twice as much but lasts at least twice as long and you won’t have to go in as often. Plus, gel and shellac are completely dry when your manicure is over, so there’s no pesky wait time under a fan at the end. Keep up the good work, ladies!

I havent been to a good place to get my nails done since I’ve been in the East Coast. All the places I’ve been to claim to be cheap, but when I get there the prices are insane and the job is whatever. Metro Nails, on the other hand, is a whole other story. This place is actually cheap and the quality of work done is amazing. Carol was the woman who did my nails. She was very sweet and professional. While doing my nails, she would try to start a conversation or ask if I like what she is doing. You don’t get that often. Usually people just do your nails and let you do, but goodness, Carol did an amazing job. When Carol was doing my hands, she cut the side of my skin too deep so it started bleeding. It wasn’t a lot, so I really didn’t care, but she kept on apologizing and said she felt really bad and took a long time to mend the wound(which is what you’re suppose to do…). I’m mentioning this because her professionalism is on par! Got a mani and pedi. Job was well done and thorough! Totally recommend this place! $ 2 off with student ID!!!
