This place is my new favorite Thai cuisine in Rhode Island! Not only was the sushi super fresh but they were very accommodating by doing half fried dumpling and half steamed. The pad Thai was phenomenal and the crab Rangoon was to die for!!! Everything from the food to the bubble tea to the service was outstanding. I would most certainly come back and especially ask for rosa as our waitress since she was super helpful and pleasant!!! Everybody has to check this place out

Just stopped here while waiting for a pedicure across the street, definitely coming back. We had the crispy wonton so light and crispy. Then we had the Sammy maki Amazing and the eel sauce was so good. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent! Chicken dumpling soup was amazing. Sushi rolls has a lot of spicy options which was great. Solid drink menu with $ 8 large hot or cold saki. Pad Thai was good l, I got traditional with shrimp. Also the chicken mango rice is solid!

An amazing place with really good quality food, amazing service, and great décor! It’s a shame that the place doesn’t get the business that it deserves.

Lim’s is definitely one of the better Asian places in Providence, and very comparable in price as well. They offer both sushi and a lot of Thai classics like curries and pad see ew. Also the ambience is classy af! The restaurant is spacious with large windows, fresh flowers on the tables, leather seats, and lantern decorations. It would be the perfect place for a lunch date ;) The food is hit or miss, though mostly a hit. I would recommend any of their rolls, their curries, and their coconut soup. Definitely get a side of coconut rice! Or try the mango sticky rice with coconut. Actually, I’ve even gotten a fresh coconut to drink here before. Basically, anything with coconut is delish! Their pad Thai and pad see ew isn’t the best I’ve ever had though, so go for the other stuff on their menu. 5⁄5 — I always leave full and happy.

The more I go to Lims the more i like it. At first I was unimpressed. Now I have consistently had good quality susih several times in a row. Their salads are high caliber too. You’re getting real lettuce, Not just salad in a bag. I think overall their price is fair. They do some fun specials too. We normally do take out and so I’m quite fond if the fact they dont use Styrofoam. No one should use that anymore, yet places still do. Sashimi delicious. Spring rolls, excellent! I would highly recomend Lim’s!

Great for lunch! I had the Cajun Tuna Lunch Bento, which came with miso soup, salad, half a California roll, and oranges. Super flavorful and cooked to perfection! And it was only $ 10! Would highly recommend.

1. Service was soooo slow. We sat down for at least 30 minutes before we got asked what we wanted to drink. There were only 3 out of 8 tables occupied that Saturday night. 2. Food was good. We had kimchi fried rice, coconut shrimp, some light tofu soup, shrimp tempura roll… pretty basic stuff. 3. It took us another 20 – 30 min to get our bill and change. I wouldn’t go back just because of the service.

This place is a gem! The food was delicious, both sushi and non-sushi options. We went there for lunch and ordered Pad Thai, a ton of sushi, Cajun Tuna. I seriously thought everything was delicious. Servers were friendly and attentive. The restaurant it clean and pretty. Food is yummy. Street parking is reasonable. I will be back.

Just went there for dinner and it was fantastic! Beef satay with Thai peanut sauce was very good. Crispy shrimp sushi and eel n avocado sushi were both great. It’s less than 5 minutes from me so I wish they had a weekday happy hour with half priced sushi or something of that nature. That would really up their business 4 – 6.

Awesome all the way around. Went for a birthday dinner with nine of us. We ordered tons of apps, sushi, and noodles. Everything was delicious! Everyone loved the tempura, a noodle dish with basil, the sweet potato maki, the coconut shrimp and pretty much everything else! They were so nice to us and did a great job with a large group. The room was beautiful and it had a fun vibe. I can’t wait to go back — maybe with my family or maybe for another girls night. Really great! And make sure to check yourself out in the tall mirror by the bathrooms!

Came here one day during the holiday season just for a quick takeout, and it was great service! They brought me water and made sure I was comfortable all while making sure I was aware of what I was ordering. They answered any questions I had which was very nice. Definitely will come again!

I have wanted to try Lim’s and was very glad they were open Christmas Day. The staff were all cheerful and welcoming and the décor is very nice. The Goyza appetizer was excellent. I love pad Thai but this was my first time having crispy pad Thai. It was very good but next time I will ask for it without the chicken and more of the seafood. My wife had a wide noodle rice dish with basil and chicken which she liked. The menu said it was a very spicy dish and it certainly was, so watch out! We will be visiting Lim’s again.

I really enjoyed Lim’s. It’s near my new place so my boyfriend and I took a walk over last Saturday. We ordered some drinks, a glass of Riesling for myself and a Palm(beer) for my boyfriend. We ordered a bowl of miso soup, the Triple crab roll, the Tornado roll, and the Spicy Scallop roll. The miso soup was full of flavor, unlike other restaurants where it tastes like dirty water. Plenty of tofu of scallions in it! I really loved the Spicy Scallop roll. So yummy! The Triple Crab rol was great, soft shell crab, blue crab, and crabstick. The Tornado roll might be my favorite. It’s actually deep fried. It has a great crunch to it and has kani salad in it! The service was nice. They refilled our water several times which was great because the sushi is nice and spicy. The ambiance was interestingly quiet at first, there was no music in the room we were in, but as the restaurant started to fill up we figured out why… it gets noisy(not a bad noisy though) quick so I couldn’t imagine having music on top of it. We want to try sitting next to the sushi bar next time. We will definitely be back soon!

I did takeout from Lim’s so this review is strictly on the food and not so much the presentation. I found the food to be fresh and the flavor was definitely on point with what would and should be expected. I had the spicy basil leaf(beef) and the beef was tender and as lunch goes the portion size was good. The sauce was spicy and flavorful. For me, there was nothing that set it aside from other places where I’ve had this dish. If I could, I would have given it 3 ½ stars just because I feel that 3 seems lacking but 4 would have been generous. Given it’s location, I don’t think you’re going to find better Thai on the East Side of Prov, but I think you could if you drive a little further. Also, parking can definitely be a problem in that area depending on the time of day. So it’s something to take into consideration if you don’t want to walk or the weather isn’t optimal.

I believe this location is referred to as Wayland Square, which is a pretty nice area. I thought there would be more going on around the area, but it was a cool place none-the-less. From what I could tell of reviews, this place was well known for sushi. Suchi is not my thing but pad thai is. We ordered their Crab Rangoon, and while I think they were some of the best I have ever had, the girlfriend did not agree, and enjoys a much sweeter version. What we did not disagree on was that the pad thai was so-so, average. I got the Crispy Pad Thai and the girlfriend regular pad thai. Normally, I would like to try something outside the box, but I was really in the mood for crispy pad thai. Maybe theirs is more authentic or something, but the flavors were not quite right, and I did not get much shrimp or chicken. All in all, we will certainly give this place another try someday.

My sister and I wanted to go out for some tom yum and sushi so we decided to try Lim’s. The sushi was ok but the tom yum was delicious. I have a real hankering for some good soup and this places puts good flavor punch into it. I also put rice into my soup and this place has coconut rice! It makes it that much better. Amazing, right? GETTHECOCONUTRICE!

Went here last night to catch up with a gf who just back to town and was craving Thai Food. First time here and left satisfied. Parking can be a hassle but I was very lucky that there was a spot waiting for me! We had the appetizer sampler(app special) that consisted of the following(which can be found on their app menu): Chicken wings — thought we would’ve gotten 2 wings cut in half but it was 1 wing so we got a piece each. Was a bit dry for me. Chicken Satay — good flavor and cooked well but I didn’t really like the peanut sauce that came with it Gyoza — nice balance of flavors Shumai — would’ve preferred steamed but wasn’t asked so we received fried, didn’t really care for Spring Roll — nice crunch but dry and a bit flavorless on the inside Crab Rangoon — fried nicely and you can actually taste the crabmeat and not just the cream cheese For entrees, I went light and got the Larb Kai(considered a salad and is made up of ground chicken with mint, lime juice and chili peppers). Really nice flavor and level of heat — a few to many slices of red onion. Had with a side of sticky rice. My gf had the crispy Pad Thai — nice flavor to it but she regretted not getting the traditional Pad Thai as you can only eat so much of the crispy noodles before your jaw starts to hurt! Service was prompt and friendly. Water glasses were never empty and the restaurant started to fill up pretty quickly after we got there. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow(aka drunken noodles) to go for my bf. He liked it a lot and said he would def order it again if we went. Too much basil and a little too spicy for my tongue but not terrible. Nice little Thai place ok South Angell worth visiting!

Service: We seemed to have two waitresses taking care of us… One was fab: friendly, helpful, accommodating The other was: hurried, didn’t interact much, afraid of our dog(we were sitting outside) Dishes: We had the following… Incredible Hulk: good, but came apart easily Scallop dynamite: decent; interesting presentation Fried veggies: pretty good, not too heavily fried Salad: the ginger dressing was not what I expected, but I liked it Salmon belly: the texture was not for me, but I tried something new and it wasn’t awful Crunchy Salmon: def not my fave Hama Yuzu: finally — this was amazing: simple and delicious (PS the above is WAYTOOMUCH food for two people) Bottom line: I like that they have outdoor seating, the food is fresh and overall good, however, it can be a little tough on the wallet… but not according to my Manhattanite friend who accompanied me… It’s all about perspective, I suppose.
