Disclaimer: I’ve only had their food once.
I actually want to give 2 stars, but will give 3 because I’m just impressed with anyone who is able to get a food truck up and running.
The food was very bland. The beans and rice had absolutely no flavor. They need to be seasoned — cooked in broth, with herbs and spices!
The tacos had really nothing on them. The fish ones just had some fish and sauce. What about lettuce, pico, some sort of slaw, gauc, sour cream, beans. the works!
This has huge potential. I live on the west side, and I am loving the influx of trucks. I will definitely go back for a second try!

I’m lovin’ hte De Las Olas. I seek it out and have them outside The Avery on Tuesday nights. As I’ve told them in my infinite wisdom: «I know that I’m eatin’ something,» when I have their pork tacos. The chili’s make me sweat even on these cooler nights of September. The burritos are just a lot of good food — a full meal. Tacos are just right. One’s not enough, three’s too many. Enjoy!

Had two ONE DOLLAR tacos! They were phenomenal. Take THAT, Taco Bell!!! Ground beef, with some onion, cilantro and other stuff. A few selections of fun hot sauces. And the dude was awesome. I’m a fan.

Whle I have eaten at this truck, at least four or five times, I can’t say anything is more than spectacular. It makes me miss the good ol’ Mom and Pop days of Taqueria Pacifica. I find the food has some flavor, I prefer the pork overall. I like the array of hot sauces they offer, the service is quick, but it isn’t ever going to be my first choice.

These guys are definitely on the right track. Not too expensive and pretty tasty. The downside is that they need something in the tacos other than the meat. Maybe a little onion, a little cilantro, sour cream, or something. The meat itself is good (I had the pork and chicken) but it needs a little more flavor to it. Its got good spiciness but the marinade needs a little something more.
