Ducky’s Sprinklers and Landscape services

I had a funny feeling something would go wrong with this repair and sure enough, the morning after Jerry et al came out, there was evidence of an even bigger leak (i.e., more water than before in a shorter period of time) in the valve box. I called Jerry at 7:50 AM and at 8:05 AM he called back and said he’d have guys come out to check on it. Zach and someone else showed up at 9:30, and got to work.
When all was said and done, Zach said the problem was «further up from where the original problem was, but Jerry said not to charge you for this visit.» Unbelievable.
I have no idea what went wrong… if the original leak went unnoticed (how, I don’t know, given the amount of water coming out) or if they managed to create another leak while making the original repair. Regardless, this entire service experience was sloppy and unprofessional. My husband probably could’ve done just as good of a job for $ 200 less and not torn up our yard/​grass as much.
As of this morning, there don’t appear to be any leaks but yeesh… what a clusterfu! k. Avoid these guys. They also aren’t on Angie’s List… that should’ve been my first red flag.

I’ve used Ducky’s three different times at two different houses. I’ve been very pleased with their customer service and their rates. We had a minor misunderstanding one time, but they went out of their way to make it right. I definitely recommend them.
