Repeat visit, and well worth the stop. I had ceviche for the appetizer and it was so beyound words, so goood. This little place is definitely worth stopping for.

Unfortunately, did not care for the taste of the food. Ordered cheese enchilada, ground beef taco, rice and beans. Just not a good taste to the food. The enchilada color was not red or green, but a grey brown. Tasted like cleaner. … really off. Rice no flavor and beans had a chalky taste. Taco was edible, but barely. Chips and salsa were good. Service was good.

On a field trip through Prosser about 30 to 35 students from my class stopped into El Rancho for dinner. As a server I understand that most restaurants would be unprepared for 30 people to come in at 8:30 on a Monday night, but the one server handled very well. He was nice, kept a great attitude and provided fast service. This was the 10⁄19 so great job to the staff scheduled last night. We really appreciate you accommodating all of us.

El Rancho Alegre? More like El Rancho de Barfo. I can’t decide which was worse, the food or the service. We waited for more than 30 minutes just for drinks. The food was awful. At least the server was nice when we actually saw him.

I eat at a lot of «Mexican» restaurants. It is difficult to not eat at them if you live in El Valle de Yakima. This is the best place in Lower Yakima Valley. Period.

This place is pretty good. The waiter was always checking in and making sure everything was fine if we needed refills or anything at all. Service like that goes a long way in my book. The food was good, the service was excellent and the price was fair.

There is a reason this restaurant is in Prosser, instead of Sunnyside… the demographic in Sunnyside would kick this restaurant to the curb. The food was bad for anyone with a palate. The Burrito Asada had two to three pieces of steak, but no shortage of beans and rice. I paid nearly $ 12 dollars for non fresh rice, beans, and non-​home made quac. Save yourself some money and cook at home before you go here. Some meat and a crockpot would surpass the quality of this embarrassment to the mexican culinary world. We feel completely ripped off and their margaritas are of the same poor quality.

Why can’t you find a decent place to eat in Prosser? So disappointed with everything we ate in Prosser. The truck driver that’s Mexican that said this place was authentic has no clue what he’s talking about. You must have had crappy Mexican food from Mexico. Had the ceviche appetizer and it was watery with little flavor. Salsa was more tomato with hot sauce then anything of flavor. Service was pretty decent overall, but fairly flavorless Mexican in an area that you would think would be good for Mexican food.

I’m a semi driver who drives all around the US and have had a lot of «Mexican» food only to be let down. This restaurant serves real mexican food!!! Acompanied with great service. I am a mexican and have lived in Mexico. So when I say authentic I mean it. Great food and service.
