The Berns burger is to die for! Everything about it was on point! They bring out a tray of condiments with ranch, tartar sauce, ketchup, spicy mustard, sweet baby rays bbq sauce, pickles, onions and relish! The French fries were delicious and crispy and were dressed in butter and pink Himalayan salt. The owner Darren is awesome and it’s obvious that he takes pride in his menu and quality of food. The atmosphere is fun with musical instruments hanging from the ceiling. All and all just a really great place in Prosser!

Looking for a local dive bar? Then bern’s is the local joint. Greasy food and cold beer. They typically have music provided by the jukebox but occasionally also have a rock band play. Nothing makes this dive bar stand out from the crowd, except that it has genesse cream ale on tap which is an amazing find.

Berns burgers are the best. I’ve eaten here dozens of times. Like the atmosphere. People are nice, great staff. My only complaint is the $ 1 charge to use your credit card. Seems a little steep.

If you’re in Toppenish, this is where you go after a day of wine tasting for cold beers, awesome chicken strips, and a great juke box chock full of everyone’s 80’s buttrock favorites. They have applied for their liquor license so, fingers crossed.

One of my favorite go too’s for take out! The burgers are amazing and for me gizzards are a childhood comfort food! Staff is awesome. I am not a fan of tavern environment so my score is a bit lower on this review! I have been told things are about to Change at Bern’s, I am looking forward to seeing whats new!

Oh! Boy! Talk about a dive bar! Trust me, no dive bar scares me, and sometimes I prefer a dive bar to anything else. Came here to get a beer and watch some of the collegiate football games. Each table has its own little tv sticking out of the wall, pretty rad. We didn’t eat, but we did see some really appetizing jars of pickled eggs we didn’t find the courage to dive into. And just so we wouldn’t forget that this was a dive bar, there was a some type of plastic wire wrapper at the bottom of my glass of water I didn’t notice ’til I was ¾ of the way down. That didn’t put me off, we came later that night to watch a football game, but left when the place was too crowded to watch the game and a live band took over the bar. Apparently the burgers are great, we didn’t have anything to eat, but there was a lot of happy, sloppy faces eating them.

I go to Bern’s occasionally for lunch, when I’m feeling like a slightly different experience. The food is good, the staff is personable, the atmosphere is good. Soda is sold by the can here, which is a little weird if you’re used to sucking down a ton of it with a meal, but we could all stand to drink a little less soda. The only thing that keeps me from coming here more often is the surcharge on plastic transactions. I’m not much of one for carrying cash or checks.

This was the second bar we made it to during our two-pub pub crawl of Prosser on a Thursday night. This bar had a nice old timey, dive bar feel to it, and I knew I’d like it. We grabbed a booth and the bartender came up to ask us and took our order(beers, FYI). While chatting and sipping ale, my eyes found the ceiling, and all over this establishment I noticed that there were all kinds of musical instruments hanging from the ceiling. Weird. But unique. So this is a nice bar with great service. There are a few pool tables. There were a few locals here, and we didn’t feel alienated by them. All in all a nice place to drop by if you’re in Prosser on a Thursday night. Oh, and if you want your fried gizzards for take-away. Give this place a call. Heard someone call in for some gizzards, and before the bar keep hung up, he was dropping the frozen gizzards into the oil. What the heck are gizzards anyway?
