This is my 2nd year in a row camping here. This time I stayed 2 nights and made a reservation online. Prices are good for the area(near Crater Lake). Bathroom is what you’d expect camping, but i was impressed with the toilet paper(not 1 ply!) oddly. There doesn’t appear to be enough toilets for the amount of campsites in each area, so you have to be quick and know someone might be waiting. Camp host was very friendly and had wood for sale at $ 7 a bundle. They are pet friendly and have a stream running through some campsites, which are the ones that get reserved first. Watch out for bees while you’re cooking, this created a nuisance for me and ended up eating in my car so i can have peace & quiet.

Went here for Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed myself. The campground is what I’d call picturesque. Clean, well maintained facilities and friendly camp hosts. It’s a great place for children as it’s quite quiet and everyone seemed to observe the posted speed limit. A babbling brook winds its way through the campground and makes the place very peaceful. Overall its reasonably priced and a nice place to camp. Be sure to understand that the toilets are pit style and you might be a little surprised you’re first visit.

Great campground! Stayed here for a weekend trip to Crater Lake and don’t think we could have picked a better campground. Sites are really big, though they might not look like it from the road. Sites are also nice and private. Great trails to Natural Bridge and Rogue River Gorge. Highly recommend Union Creek Campground.
