Played there 5 times. Small 9 hole but the course is laid out very well. The fees are reasonable, they could up date the carts to electric.

This is a great little course for those in the East Louisville area that are not looking to spend a lot but still want a decent looking layout. The course itself is 9 holes and a par 36. It was developed on an old family farm and still has that feel of being right in the middle of the country, as their are holes where you play along fields of crops and an orchard. The club house is very tiny and low tech. There is usually a kid inside running the counter. The putting green is well maintained and fairly large so that multiple people can putt in peace at once. The course is average in length. The fairways are just normal grass that is cut shorter than the rough. They are probably my least favorite part of the course as I wish they had used a different grass variety so that they played softer. The greens are very nice and soft so they tend to putt slow. The course only uses 2 different pin positions on each hole. The bunkers are well placed and kept clean. There is one lake that comes into play on holes one and nine. The fee is cheap compared to surrounding courses, especially if you walk. Their yearly membership is also the cheapest you are going to find in the area. Unfortunately, the cheap price has garnered a lot of attention from players, so now the course has been fairly packed as of late. So be prepared to play a 3 hour round of 9, especially on weekends.

This is a course that knows where it fits and does it well. It seems to always be in good condition — and it’s because it’s under good management that keeps the fairways and greens a bit longer so they don’t get burnt out. Sleepy Hollow is ideal for a round after work to knock off some cobwebs on the clubs and get some exercise. Beginners who are looking to get some experience under their belt on a forgiving layout will also enjoy this course. If you’re looking for a serious track that can test your game, this isn’t the spot for you. If you’re looking for an affordable, enjoyable and casual round of golf, Sleepy Hollow is ideal.

I’ve played here a couple of times with my friends and we always have fun. The course is kept up, no wait on the tees, and reasonably priced. It’s not for the professional golfer; but perfect for a weekend golfer.

Great, low key, nine hole course on the far east side of Louisville. Quaint, quiet, and usually a very minimal wait for tee off. This is not the course for a professional, but is the ideal place for a fun round for the casual golfer.
