Not huge fan of the pizza, but the entrees are so good. I usually go with the chicken Giovanni, baked pasta combo, or the meatball and sausage casserole.

This place is hit or miss. Some nights the pizza is fantastic, others I feel like I threw money in the garbage. Tonight the pizza was terrible. No flavor, crust was barely done, too doughy for our liking. We prefer brick oven, so let it burn a little…

Best BBQ Chicken Pizza I ever had. I love Bakis. The service, the environment. I’ve been coming here for three years now!

Excellent pizza, by far the best in Prospect. Good staff at the bar and ice cold beers! If they had a Touch Tunes box for music selection it would be a huge plus! Bar and restaurant are separated which makes it family friendly.

So good! Portions so big you always have left overs. The wood fired oven makes the pizza taste amazing. Great bar and staff it’s my go to place from food to drinks

Great pizza place. They use a wood fire oven to get that crispy crust. Reasonable pricing for a large pie. Only had pizza; had not tried anything else.

Best pizza in Prospec. Pasta ala vodka is my favorite. The rest if the family won’t eat chicken parm anywhere else.

First and more than likely last time that I will go to this establishment. It is your typical pizza restaurant with your typical menu. The tomato soup was a thick, not to die for soup as mentioned in the other reviews. The tortellini soup was simply the same that you can make with canned College Inn broth and frozen tortellini out of your local supermarket. The two meals ordered were to put it quite simply, burnt. On the eggplant parm, the scorched cheese blanket over the top literally pulled off in one piece. On the chicken parm, whatever coating they applied to the chicken was a very dark oily brown color. Nearly 30% of the chicken portion was black and burnt and it left a burnt taste that I experienced for the rest of the night. Also, the chicken was thin and with the sacrificial way they prepared it, very dry. The sauce that they used seemed like the recipe was tomato paste with water added and left to simmer. No taste and with a very thick unappealing, congealed appearance. I wish that I did not experience this but the following weekend, I visited another similar establishment and it was a complete opposite dining experience. Maybe and hopefully their claim to fame is the pizza.

The very best of Prospect in one perfect little restaurant. And the new bar section is great! Tomato soup. Great baked dishes. And the best brick oven pizza I’ve ever had. There is nothing else in town that compares to this place !!

Baki’s is a great neighborhood place in Prospect. Yes, it’s pizza, just like every other restaurant in Prospect. But it is good pizza, and everything else I’ve had there has been good as well. The portions are large, the bar is huge, and the owner Baki really makes the effort to keep his customers happy. He seems to know most people by name. When I first moved to Prospect, I stopped into the bar. Upon telling the bartender that I was new in town, she later sent me over a drink on the house from Baki, welcoming me to town. To me, that is great customer service.

Can’t say I’ve ever gone much deeper into the menu than pizza(maybe an occasional grinder here and there), but I’m a HUGE fan of this place. The wood fired oven produces a really unique crust that must be tried to be appreciated. The toppings are always fresh tasting and the sauce(the most important part of ANY pizza) is amazing. I will say this though, don’t be afraid to go crazy in the gourmet pizza menu, even if you’re a traditionalist. The Philly Steak and BBQ Chicken pizzas are 2 of the most amazing pies I’ve ever tried. Sit down service was great, small and cozy, great atmosphere. 5 stars.

I now have to eat gluten-free, so my options are quite limited. That being said, Baki’s offers a GF crust option. It’s not made by them, it comes prepared and sealed in wrap, and in it’s own little metal tray. The pizza didn’t touch the brick oven where other items were. They know to prep the toppings in a separate area with different utensils. Not the best crust, and very thin, but GF-beggars have to take what we can get. I’ll take it for a once-in-a-while don’t-feel-like-cooking option!

I love going to this place. I go with my dad and/or sisters on a semi-regular basis and the beau pretty much every time he’s in town. Like everyone else says, its very family friendly but they just added a bar(maybe six months ago) to attract people who want a ‘night on the town’. I haven’t wandered into that section of the restaurant yet but I usually go to sit and talk with family so I’m just not interested. The food is delicious. Its hard to have a miss here. The pizza is pretty classic for this area and its done well. The various special pizzas are very good and well balanced. Of the apps I’ve gotten, I enjoy the calamari the most. Dad likes the Fra Diavolo mussels-he has a tendency to be sweating by the time he’s done… I’ve tried the fried mozz. Meh. Not enough cheese. I like the one at Nardelli’s better. I’ve had the garlic bread with and without cheese. Its delicious but not enough to get to to pay extra for garlic, butter and sometimes cheese when you already get the delicious bread with an entrée. As its been mentioned before, get the tomato basil soup-it’s worth it. Bring it home if you think its going to be too much but I’ve actually brought my meal home so that I could dunk as much bread into the soup as I wanted and left *very* happy. My all time favorite entrée is the tortellini bolongese. Sometimes I’ll get a special but there is a 50⁄50 chance that I’ll wish that I had gotten the tortellini. Its not that the other meal is bad, its just that the tortellini is better. All said and done, I keep going back because the food is good, the service is attentive and the price is right.

baki’s pizza in prospect is really good. i think the sauce is what makes me nutso to come back. i always order a spinach and eggplant medium pizza and it’s enough for me for lunch and dinner. i don’t care too much to dine in but the pizza is something def worth trying. cheese is ooey gooey, toppings are pretty generous. makes my must try pizzas

Pretty good for Prospect. I always seem to forget about Baki’s when I order pizza… although I do enjoy it when we go… I think? It’s nothing too memorable(to me) I guess… and I dunno why? I don’t have any complaints, and I can’t think of any standouts. Just decent pizza that gets the job done. I will say… I’m happy to see a place like this in Prospect… our little town needs it! EDIT: I was filling out the tips below, and I realized why I never dine in! It’s a parent/children hang out! Always seems to be a baseball game or something taking over this place when I’m in there… and lately, I can’t deal with little ones lol.
