No. Just no. If I’m going to pay a price for an item it better be worth it. It’s sad because it’s not about the quality of the food, it’s the quantity for the price. I’ve gotten many empanadas which are EMPTY, I’ve gotten sandwiches there twice that come with what looks like a counted number of fries. Ridiculous. I don’t mind paying 10 dollars maybe a little more for a burger, but it better look good and be a reasonable helping! I’ve given up on this place. Not coming back.

We live in the neighborhood and are so happy to find this colorful Dominican comfort food Café in our area. The lovely women working the counter and kitchen suggested we try the da Dominican chimi which was like a tasty flat bread spicy burger. The dollar empanadas very tasty and reasonable.

Fun little shop, good affordable food, friendly staff. Clean and well kept, going to bathroom is a little difficult with the fridge in the way.

The name Cafecito made me think, hey good, local place for coffee! And it’s cold, so very much needed! Pros about coffee: Cons: One flavor you serve yourself of mediocre coffee. There’s a big tub for coffee creamer you scoop out yourself(huh?) AND there’s no trash anywhere near the coffee area, where obviously a lot of trash adds up with the sweeteners and stirrers, but you have to walk that back towards the door. Honestly the taste and the set up is just like an office situation but that’s free coffee. I’ve had better coffee/more options from gas stations. I guess the serve yourself is handy if you are eating in, but there’s 2 tiny tables and it’s a small space, so this isn’t a Starbucks or Panera you’re going to hang out in and mooch off wifi. Heck, at least Dunkin Donuts serves you the coffee and adds the cream/sugar for you and you can get a shot of flavor for no extra cost. If this place was called«Yummy Sandwiches» I probably would have given an extra star. But they should remove coffee from their branding as obviously they don’t care about it. A crappy cup of coffee from a deli wouldn’t bother me because eh, that’s not their focus. Other notes: –Place was empty and the menu was laminated copy on counter top. This was fine when I was the only one there, but if there was a line and people had to wait until they got to the counter to look it over, that can be time consuming -$ 10 min for credit card. They have no sign about this. I came close and the cashier talked me into a $ 1 empanada which is kind of clever to boost sales and kind of annoying they don’t tell you about the credit card thing before purchase. Post a little sign –cashier was friendly and cook seemed to move pretty quickly –two almost empty display cases. It just makes a place seem sad/empty. You put the cases in, if you have nothing to display, you probably could have used the space better I had the avacado sandwich which has bacon and turkey on it. Delicious! And the fries were fine. But the sandwich was great and reasonably price and very filling. If it wasn’t for that, I would completely right off this place. I’ll come back to try other sandwiches and this seems like a great place for lunch/quick meal because of that, but it could still use some serious improvements. I understand supporting local, but the reasons chains thrive is because they know what works and what the masses like. I don’t know if Cafecito is trying to figure out what it wants to be still since it’s pretty new, but it’s got some things to work out.

I’ve come here a couple of times. I’ve not yet seen another customer though. It’s a small place with perhaps 5 small tables and 5 seats at a counter by the window. I’ve had the North 8th Steak Roll and I’ve had the Veggie Omelet and Berry Explosion smoothie. Everything was great. There is a television perched on top of a cold beverage refrigerator but I was entertained by residents across the street trying to control an out of control lawn umbrella on a windy day.

The staff is really helpful and friendly here. Very attentive always making sure you’re order is good. The place though small, is very nicely put together(for lack of a better word) and extremely clean. Now the food, DELICIOUS. There’s so many different sandwiches and burgers you’ll have a hard time deciding which one to get! The coffee was made just how I like it, and they’re smoothies. Lawd! SOGOOD! I had the chimi today and it was perfect, seasoned just right not to mention how hot and crispy the fries were. Will be back here much often, and not only because I work right down the street!

I was looking forward to the opening of Cafecito for months, since I live in the area, and I couldn’t wait to try all the different kind of coffees this place was going to offer. Turns out, Cafecito only offers ONE type of regular Coffee and it’s from a self serving machine! Lol!!! On top of that, the coffee tasted like rubbing alcohol and I could only take 3 sips before having to toss it. On a semi-positive note, the empanadas were decent but nothing to brag about. The best part about this place was the wall décor. I really wanted to give this place 2 stars since the wall décor was nice — but there is no way that this is a 4 star café spot. You are better off going to Fine Grind by Willowbrook mall which is my personal favorite. I really was hoping Cafecito would be my new home for coffee and hanging out, I’m disappointed on how bad this place turned out to be. If the owner, or if one of the owners friend’s are reading this, please don’t be afraid to reach out to me. I really think this place has potential, but it needs some serious help. I may even have a friend who lives a few blocks away who can maybe work their part-time and give the coffee some life. I will visit again LATERLATER down the road and hopefully I’ll update my review.

This place is great… if you plan on never coming here again! There’s coffee that tastes like Folgers Instant, nothing tastes homemade, and the«fresh» juices have way too much sugar and taste like they are from a can… Spend your money elsewhere.

The staff are very friendly and nice. The interior is small but not necessarily overcrowded. The food is awesome definitely the best around. The iced coffee was my favorite! If you want to eat around the area definitely try here! I will be going again soon.
