I’m a fan from afar of WS. When I visit this mall I always browse this tiny but well stocked store and dream of a time when I can outfit my whole kitchen with their wares. They carry some of the best knives, pans, pots and appliances you can find. Often I use the store as a starting point then see if I can find the same item elsewhere for less$$$. Some of their food items are very good also, I highly recommend the flavored sea salts, especially hardwood smoked and porcini varieties. Sign up for their emails to get special offers from time to time. If you are a frequent customer you even get a bday gift(sometimes) 4.25 crossing my fingers I’ll win the lottery Unilocal

Williams Sonoma is not my go to kitchen supply store and this experience does not change that. Prices are wayyyyyy to high for everyday needs. Staff was nice and helpful. Samples were a nice touch. The prepared foods did not impress me. I would not go to this store unless I had something specific in mind.

Terrible terrible fucking terrible service. I’ve been waiting as a write this review for about 25 minutes now. All staff are with customers and they do not acknowledge you are even in the store. I’ve had someone helped before me and clearly I was here first.

Very friendly staff. I wanted to purchase a vegetable peeler. I’m very particular as to what type. Original they thought they didn’t carry it. They were willing to order it online for me and send it to my home — no shipping fee. As we chatted, turns out they offer cooking classes. I signed up for a few. The employees truly love their jobs and it shows.

I absolutely love this place. Located at the Princeton MarketFair, they have all of the cooking odds-and-ends that you’re probably not yet looking for. The last time Arlene and I shopped there, we left the store with a Breville counter-top convection oven. While we didn’t need it, we couldn’t resist and use it all of the time. I can only assume Williams-Sonoma knew we needed it at the time we visited. Today’s visit was un-planned as well. I just happened to be at the Starbucks in Princeton MarketFair and made the mistake of looking out of the door and into Williams-Sonoma. Since I heard this little voice saying, «Andy, come take a peek,» I wandered in. Needless to say, I walked out of the store with another bag of kitchen gadgets that will make our life easier. With any kind of luck, they won’t end up in the kitchen gadget archive to be replaced with that one electric infomercial appliance said to replace them all. When in the Princeton area, be sure to stop by Williams-Sonoma in the Princeton MarketFair.

Hard to believe there are bad reviews of this Williams & Sonoma. I realize it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch, but my experiences here have never been anything less than stellar. I purposely try not to shop in Williams & Sonoma. Why? Because I can’t be trusted to not make a thousand dollars worth of impulse purchases. Now I’m not a chef by any means, but I love food, and I love everything related to food. Williams & Sonoma is like a culinary toy store to me. I just want to buy everything. And most of the time when I do buy things here, they come home and never get used. But goddamn their stuff looks great on my counter! So I’ve put a new system in place to avoid unnecessary purchases when I shop here. I now shop at Williams & Sonoma in the same way I shop for clothes and gifts: I rampage shop. «Rampage shopping» is a term the boys and I use to describe our strategy for making purchases in malls. Way in advance, we figure out everything we need to get. Then we study the layout of the mall, share info about where to locate certain products in larger stores like Macy’s and Nordstrom, and then we arrive and disband. We then charge in the direction of the exact product we need, tracing a line as the crow flies, knocking over anyone and anything that gets in our way until we find what we need, grab it, purchase it, and make a b-line back to reassemble at a pre-agreed upon meeting place.(Usually a bar inside the mall.) So now when I shop at Williams & Sonoma, I know what I need well in advance. I’ve already researched it for price to ensure there isn’t someplace cheaper I can find it. Normally, if it can wait, I order it from Amazon. But on days like the other day when I just had to have a new Breville juicer right then and now, I knew I could count on Williams & Sonoma. I called ahead and spoke to a lovely young woman who confirmed they had the product in stock, set a meeting time to pick it up, and was on the road a few hours later. When I arrived, I charged fast and straight through the Barnes & Noble like a man with blinders on, walked up to the Williams & Sonoma store, and announced myself as I walked in. Instantly recognized, I was waved over to the counter, the product ready to go, and with a quick swipe of the Amex I was done. Receipt arrived via e-mail. It was as if I robbed the mall in under 90 seconds. Every experience I’ve had in this store has always been wonderful. The people who work here actually know something about the products they sell. And while you will almost always pay more to buy a product in Williams & Sonoma, I find this particular location a really enjoyable place to shop. There’s always some kind of cooking show or food sampling table to entice you to spend even more money. And seriously, how could you pass up an Oxo spork being sold at the register? I love this store and the people working here. Unfortunately, they’ll never again keep me in the store longer than a minute, but that minute is always bliss. And I love my new juicer.

Really great customer service here. They were about 5 minutes from closing but still helped us anyway. I wanted some soda syrup for my Soda Stream Penguin and the employee was very friendly and courteous. He even took 2 dollars off the price of the syrup for me.

Horrible customer service. My friend & I walked in during a cooking class(no signage anywhere saying it was going on, and store was still open for shopping.) While I’m not a cooking fanatic, my friend is. I watched her stand in front of an employee waiting for the employee to recognize her/answer her question for five minutes and she didn’t get so much as a smile. We left the store and won’t be back. A little«Hello, We’ll be right with you» goes a long way, and an ignoring jackass does not go unnoticed.

As much as I love William’s Sonoma, the ladies at this store have an attitude issue. I’d rather order online than deal with bitchiness. What store puts 2 price labels on a box? If the box is $ 48, put a label for $ 48. 2 labels for $ 24 on the same box? It just looks like some numskull went label crazy and it is assumed that the box is $ 24. It’s misleading, so don’t treat me like an idiot because you label differently from every other store in the world. If Gap has 2 labels on a shirt, they don’t charge you twice. If Pottery Barn had 2 labels on a bedskirt or crib, they wouldn’t charge you twice. No stores do that. Get over yourselves. You do know that poor service is generally retold to at least 20 friends, don’t you?
