Great yoga studio. They offer a lot of different styles of classes from Iyengar, to Restorative, to Vinyasa and Hatha. The teachers are very knowledgeable and well trained. You can tell they really love what they do and concerned about their students well being. It’s a great place for new as well as advanced students. They are also offer workshops with Iyengar teachers from NY and PA.

this place was only okay. it’s a really small studio in a strip mall on 27. i stopped in for a prenatal class with my mom when i was home for christmas break. first of all, the prenatal classes were unexpectedly $ 20(not indicated anywhere on the website), which i thought was really steep given the length of time and quality of the studio(weird carpet, noisy when students were leaving the larger class). i pay $ 12/class in boston at a really nice studio in a city! how to pay was also really nebulous, the teacher was like«eh, just leave it on the table over there.» OK then. i also didn’t really like the teacher that much — she wasn’t very friendly(except with her regulars), which was awkward because it was such a small class and space. she also spent a LONGTIME doing the check-in before class(where everyone says how far along they are and any health complaints they have at the time). it turned into this whole conversation about constipation when really what i wanted was to just get class started already. in the end, the class was actually ok/better than i expected, and i got in a good stretch. and they had jade yoga mats you could use for free, which was nice. but i think if i’m in town again during my pregnancy i’ll try somewhere else.
