The Princeton University Store has two locations, this one on University Place, and the other on Nassau Street in Princeton, NJ. This one feels more like a super Wawa with all the goods they sell from school supplies to sandwiches and drinks. Of course, Wawa doesn’t have everything with the Princeton logo emblazoned on it, and therein was the reason for our visit. In addition to showing off the main campus, we wanted a few wearables to remember this great institution by. The U Store had a wall with shirts, sweats, hats, etc., and we honed in there to see what we liked. A sale on Champion gear helped sway our decisions. We walked out with two sweatshirts and a T shirt, all with different Princeton U. identifications. This is a co-op market, meaning that buying a membership entitles you to a 10% discount on everything and advanced notice of special sales. Two options; annual($ 10) or lifetime($ 25) were offered. A quick calculation and we realized joining would pay for itself on this trip alone, and we opted to become proud co-op members. It’s nice to be part of such an historic and prestigious family.

This is the best U-store ever. Since it has been under new management, I’ve seen a lot of positive changes — in product and staff. Everyone is super friendly, and helpful. They’re just a great bunch of people to deal with on a regular basis. I definitely recommend, if you’re looking for PU memorabilia, PU insignia clothing, toiletries, light groceries, and snack foods. If you need something in a pinch, there’s a good chance that you can pop on over, and they’ll have it.

This is actually a pretty good general store if you’re in downtown Princeton. You can pick up electronic accessories, pharmacy goods, groceries, coffee and prepared meals. It’s like a mini big box store. You don’t need to be a student to make purchases here.

I love the book store. It’s newer than the one on Nassau, and is great for staff and students. It carries a variety of U clothes and even has a Vera Bradley section! My favorite thing about it though is the fact that all the local restaurants(Tiger Noodles, DeAngelo’s etc) allow for their food to be sold in dinner portions. It’s really nice for small groceries and toiletries as well

They have an average selection of school and office supplies. They have a surprisingly large amount of food and houseware. They sell more things for your home than CVS. They even sell electronics and computer equipment. Get a membership for 10% off all purchases for life.

They have takeout dishes from Olives, Tiger Noodles, Tico, Iano, Mehek, and MoC MoC until 4 am. Great for late night food runs. Prices are decent an it’s so much better than the C-Store. More variety than Wawa although it doesn’t have a deli/order counter.

Well, I like it better than the NYU store(but the NYU store is mostly for books anyway). Probably because I like the orange and black versus purple and white color combo. However, it is a serviceable university co-op, it has all the alma mater clothing you’ll need plus general convenience things like a photo developing area, pharmacy, supplies, and just random etc. stuff that all university stores have. Its a little more consumer focused than other aspects, but a lot of the clothing is nice, I didn’t even go to Princeton and i was more than happy to don some Princeton gear.
