First time at this chain. Excellent food! Reminded me of pf changs and guess what it is owned by pfchangs. Would go here again.

This abomination of a restaurant is the disabled child of PFCHANG’S and McDonald’s. Staffed by joyless, mouth-breathing zombies who neither have sufficient training nor personalities to be working near real human beings. I’ve been here dozens of times. Not sure why I come back. Maybe I love the abuse. Food is second-rate, over-salted pf chang’s fare. Service is non existent. Wait times abysmal.

Kung pao chicken a little salty, rice helps. Also tried Thai Dynamite… uhmmm, like I said rice helps a lot. Presentation is very nice. Ambiance is laid back and you don’t have to clean up after yourself.

Get your restaurant timings right on Unilocal please! You need to know how to manage your business on Unilocal. It clearly says that the place is open till 9:30PM on Sundays(on Unilocal). I get there at 9:05PM and guess what .the place is closed. Did not even get to try the poorly reviewed food !

Basically just a Chinese take out masquerading as something new and innovative. Food is average, wait is kinda long. I went to an Asian Chipotlle once in DC(not sure they ever rolled the concept out more widely) which is basically what this restaurant could have been. Rather than average Asian slop.

Stay away! This place is useless. Food is only adequate but the formula«should» have worked as a kinda Asian fusion Chipotle– but this place is the most ineptly managed restaurant I’ve ever experienced in the area. Instead of «semi-fast» formula food, you often get SUPERSLOW tasteless food. And to make matters worse, the staff is just awful. They are rude, they never apologize for their mistakes and most of the time, they’ll just ignore you. They don’t want to make eye contact lest you discover their poorly kept secret: they just could not give a crap about you or your food.

This is an Asian style restaurant where you place your order at the register and the food is brought to your table(very quickly)! We dined here tonight and had Thai dynamite shrimp, ginger broccoli shrimp, and pad Thai. This was I think the third time here and it has always been the same good experience. Very tasty and good portions! They have sushi too. I really don’t understand the low ratings-this seems like the same quality as p.f.changs but at a more reasonable price. Maybe we didn’t come at peak hours. Anyway I would recommend it over the cattle call next door!

ew. I knew what I was in for. I read the reviews before and wrote this place off. But I was in the shopping area and my friend really wanted to go for their salad. I figured their chicken lettuce wraps must be at least ok chicken lettuce wraps were gross. Tiny itty bitty particles of what I guess is supposed to be chicken? ground up with tiny itty bitty particles of other things that are supposed to be(according to the menu) shiitake, water chestnuts, carrots, etc. this whole processed mass was congealed together with a sauce that made it all taste and look like sloppy joe meal. Needless to say I was definitely disappointed my friend ordered their salad with shrimp. The cilantro on her salad was old and shriveled, they gave her chicken instead of shrimp, and no sauce. skip it… even if you’re in the area and its convenient. Just skip it. Go next door to chipotle or pick up something to go from Trader Joe’s

Impromptu lunch with my little man. Decided between chipotle and this. So glad we tried this. Our first time. Delish. I enjoyed of pad Thai with chicken and little man had kids chicken Lo mein. Quick. Fresh. Yummy. And more food than either of us could eat. To go boxes for sure! Yummy.

Food is hit or miss, sometimes chicken is cooked through, sometimes not. The rice tastes like dish soap, my guess is they do not have time wash it completely Service is incredibly slow. Average wait is about 20 – 30 minutes. Prices are very moderate. Overall I would not recommend this place.

This is really rather awful excuse for Asian or Asian fusion food, fast or not. The entrees are packed with sugar, and the chicken was inedible. The appetizers were cold and(actually) slimy). Skip it. The reality is it is really hard to get decent Asian food in the Princeton area.

The space is very nice and the food is pretty good. They have a nice selection of both sides and entrees, and I like that they offer entrees in both small and large sizes — especially at lunch time! They also offer sauces with to-go meals, which is nice. Service, however, can be very disorganized. Try calling in advance for pick up, but be prepared to wait anyway. I recently called in an order for pad thai and arrived 30 minutes later to pick it up. I was surprised it wasn’t ready yet, but assured it would be out soon. 20 more minutes and I was told they accidentally gave it away to someone else! The cashier was apologetic, but if management is serious about making this a popular lunch spot for nearby offices, they should improve the quality and consistency of service.

I love Chinese. I go to PF chang’s a lot. Went to this new place Pei Wei once and liked it in the first visit itself. I like Dan Dan noodles and Dumpling soup very much. Good ambience. You can order the dish as per your choice of ingredients. Fast food version of PF Changs suitable for quick lunch. Good place to have lunch for working proffessionals.

I hate to pile on, but this was a one star only experience. Sadly, the low ratings are deserved. While the space itself shows a large investment in a modern attractive atmosphere, the food has the look, but not the taste of authenticity — neither Chinese, nor the Americanized version. The service appears disorganized and slow. It is not the place to go for any meal, especially lunch when the clock is relevant. I sat at the«bar» in front of the semi-open kitchen. I watched as the cooks prepared only one order at a time, rather than the multiple approach that is possible. Then, as the finished plates were placed on the shelf for serving, the delivery people wandered around looking for the corresponding number that every customer is given at the cashier, and then go anywhere in the room to sit and wait. The servers seemed defeated by the frustration of such perpetual inefficiency. Worse, the customers sat with no control over when they would receive their food, but suspecting it was floating around the room in the hands of the server who could not find them. Totally ridiculous concept and execution. The food became an afterthought. My Thai Dynamite Chicken arrived so late that I ate it quickly, only realizing it has little flavor. I left the rest of the plate behind as I had to run for my next meeting. A hell of a way to drop $ 12. It was almost as if they designed the whole experience to be such a turn off that you would never consider a return visit. What were they thinking?

ugh. i don’t know why i bother coming here. greasy, salty faux-asian-inspired dishes with the slowest service ever. i’ve been to pei wei on a few occasions, when i’m not in the mood for chipotle nor for running through a shopping cart maze in trader joe’s at lunch time. every time, i regret it as soon as i place my order. why didn’t i just give in and tackle TJ’s?! today i waited for a solid 4 minutes for the dude at the register to acknowlegde me(yes, i timed it… because after the first 90 seconds, i was curious to see how long he’d go). he had his back turned and was staring into the kitchen. pretty sure the only reason he turned around was because the man in line behing me deliberately cleared his throat loudly. and then i made the mistake of ordering. and now i’m making the mistake of eating this over salted, kinda greasy, sorta gummy«pad thai» with«chicken». and now i’m tossing it in the trash. and later imma hit the gym to work off those few bites of «food». just, don’t.

The colleagues were ordering lunch from here, so I decided to throw in my order as well. Got an order of Dan Dan Noodles. I was expecting something close to the real Szechuan dish but whatever I received, tasted like a microwavable entrée that was no where close to even real food for that matter. The dish tasted as if the cook opened a tray of partially pre-processed food replete with mystery meat, mixed it up together and plated onto the take out bowl. Utter garbage that I won’t even feed to my dog!

I usually love Pei Wei but I don’t understand this location. The food is a hit or miss. There is never a crowd here but right next door the line to chipotle is out the door. The locations in cherry hill and moorestown are great. I don’t understand why this group is subpar :/I usually end up here bc chipotle is too busy. The fried rice I had today was burned and had pieces of burnt stove debris. The extra veggies I asked for were hard and didn’t appear to be cooked with the rice. The fortune cookie was good… It’s sad bc the restaurant is really nice inside and should be rumbling with business. I have had a nice meal here before. Maybe Sunday evenings are just slow? It doesn’t really have the energy other locations have. I think with a little help from a DM, a few promotions it could be a better experience. I may still come here for light meals but not on the top of the list for food choices in this area. Undercover boss should come here…

Agree with all the ‘hit or misses’. I have had really delectable food and really not, right on point, and really spicy. Eh. This place runs pretty well for how busy it gets at lunch time, never had to wait long despite the packed house and line almost out the door sometimes. I do very much love me some veggie and tofu dan dan noodles, but vegetarians beware, there is chicken in the sauce. There are a few options that are completely vegetarian when you choose veggie/tofu. You order at the counter, choose a seat and they bring you your food to your seat as per your corresponding number… and clear your space when you leave. I learned that the hard way my first time going when i walked around for a few minutes looking for where to dump my trash/dishes. An employee politely told me they will clear when you are finished.

The one star is for décor. Its definitely casual nice inside. My food experience however was not good and most people who know me. know I’m all about good tasting hot, fresh and tasty food. I won’t settle for less. Granted what I ordered was served hot maybe fresh, but that salt factor is ridiculous in both the wonton soup and the lettuce wrap. Not only did it make my mouth burn, my ears were burning too. Now don’t get me wrong, I like salt in some of the food but this amount of salt will make most people sick or at least so thirsty they would be up all night looking for a drink of water and they would blow up and get all puffy from liquid absorbing that is a reaction of cells when salt and water mix. Straight up overkill. It’s not good for anyone. I spoke with the manager or at least he seemed to be somewhat of the manager on duty before I departed which he gave me a refund since I didn’t want to eat the food. I had asked if they had any other dishes that are served with less salt and he said that is how they serve all their items. If that’s the case, I suggest they find a way to be a little less heavy handed on salt portions. The manager could be a little more customer service oriented or said something. I don’t know what I would expected. maybe a simple ‘I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you’ maybe sometime come back and give us another try with another menu item”.something like that although I probably wouldn’t. A little understanding goes a long way. Some folks don’t mind the salt. I’d like other opinions on that factor. If you like it. enjoy!
