Mobile Mardi Gras came to my place of employment near Princeton Junction. The gentleman serving was a great guy and offered me samples since I had never tried his food before. I bought the shrimp po boy and tried the gumbo and the brisket. Each brought amazing flavor. The sauce on the po boy was perfect and the shrimp were fried perfectly and had terrific seasoning. The gumbo and a nice little kick and the broth was amazingly flavorful. Being from the south originally, I was eager to try to the brisket. It exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to see this truck at the various festivals and events around the Trenton/Princeton area.

4 for the Shrimp Po Boy. 1 for service and experience. Guy never got off his phone for the 10 minutes it took to fill one order. Soda cans were visibly dirty with road grime and black dust. When I asked for a Coke, instead of the original dirty Root Beer, he picked up a dirty Coke, then wiped it off with a wet rag. Now the Coke smells like mildew. Went to grab a napkin from the tray. All had some level of black dirt/dust on them. $ 13? Fool me once.

MMG came by my workplace today. Upon walking up to the truck, the owner asked if we had tried his food before, and when we said no, he offered us samples of his gumbo and a piece of his gulf shrimp. They were both delicious! It made the decision so much easier. I ordered a Gulf Shrimp Po Boy and a side of fries. The Po Boy was DELICIOUS and very filling. The fries were fresh and seasoned well, but the Po Boy definitely outshined them. It did take a little while for the orders to be filled, but he was by himself and the food was fresh and hot, so well worth the wait. He does take credit card which was the deciding factor for us to try his food. He uses the Amazon card swipe on his mobile device and you sign/accept the purchase.

Picked up lunch from this truck as well as one other today — ordered the shrimp po boy, and while the po boy was decent, it was the sample of gumbo as well as the brisket that the chef offered that had me debating whether I should go back to the truck later in the afternoon to pick up dinner(was going to pretend that I’m being a good girlfriend by bringing home dinner — not at all self-serving). That gumbo has me wishing it was colder so that I could tuck into a nice hot container to warm myself! Doesn’t hurt that everyone working that truck is super friendly — hospitality like that, combined with those flavors has me wanting to go back week after week.

I had the shrimp po boy today and it was great. The shrimp tasted amazing and there was plenty of them on the sandwich. As the others have said, the owner of the truck is a really nice guy. I look forward to them being in the Jersey City area again for lunch.

I would eat their brisket on anything!!! Tender with the perfect smoke and spice balance. I’m from Louisiana so I’m a big creole food critic. I was skeptical to try their gumbo… It was also amazing. They need an app so I can follow them around. Worth every penny.

My husband and I came across the truck at the 6th Borough Market in JC. The proprietor was incredibly friendly! He let us sample several things; including the brisket, fried shrimp, and gumbo. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend.

Had the best gumbo I’ve ever eaten, as well as an incredible shrimp po boy. The roll was light, crunchy, and piled with a generous helping of perfectly seasoned shrimp. The owner also let me sample the brisket, which was very flavorful, with just the right amount it char, and topped with a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

No joke — By far the best shrimp po’boy I’ve ever had in the state of NJ. They were at the Jersey City 6th Borough market last weekend. It’s the real deal. Gulf-coast shrimp, very fresh soft bread, crunchy lettuce. Pretty much perfection. They know what they are doing. Owner is super nice and wants to learn more about the neighborhood and where to set-up. They’ll be at the 4th of July Fireworks/Jersey City celebration in Liberty State Park. I’ll be going back for a round 2 for surely!
