The refrigerator door on our 2-​year-​old Fisher and Paykel refrigerator wouldn’t shut properly without us forcing it closed. I watched countless youtube videos trying to assess how to DIY the problem before finally giving in to a professional service.
The repairman arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. $ 100 and 30 minutes later, he had diagnosed the problem, showed me how to fix it, and gave me tips for preventing it from occurring in the future.
I had this fix on my to do list for months. If I had known how easy it would be for Metropolitan Services to fix the problem, I would have called them long ago! I will definitely be using them for any future repair work.

Had them out to repair my aging Asko dishwasher. The service technician diagnosed the problem very quickly, ordered the parts and came out to do the repair promptly. Within the week of the repair a problem had developed (continuously running pump). When I called them about this, they quickly diagnosed the problem (with the factory supplied clamps), then came back after ordering the required parts to reinstall the clamps. Problem solved. I really appreciate a business that stands behind their work like this.

We asked Metropolitan to fix two sub-​zero products. They were able to schedule appointments the next day, the technician was on time, he was friendly, he did a fantastic job and it was for a reasonable price. You couldn’t ask for more!

Our HORRIBLE Asko washer has been broken since APRIL and we’ve had three other companies come over to fix it. no one could fix it and they all charged at least $ 150 just for the visit! Metropolitan Services Inc not only completely fixed the washer, came the same week we called, and sent an amazing technician (Daniel Jones — who also gave us tips on how to extend the life of our dryer!), but they also fixed the washer completely for only $ 161. and I’m currently on our second load of clean clothes! woohoo!

The techinician that came to service my dishwasher was courteous and very nice. He explained each step in the process of fixing it so that I could do it my self in the future if need be. I was most impressed with his friendlyness and kindness. Also he was a genious with appliances, you could ask him any question about any appliance and he could probably answer it. He certainly knew our Bosh dish washer like the back of his hand. Can’t go wrong with Metropolitan Services. Also they service all of dc.

Did a great job repairing our Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer system. When it started leaking we were prepared to replace it b/​c it tends to be finicky and is in a rental unit. But, Metropolitan came out and was immediately able to identify the problem (even knew what it might be before they opened it up) and really seemed to know they way in and around the appliance. I was very impressed with the quality of the work, the price was very reasonable for the time spent, and several months later its working fine with no problems.

These people are spectacular!!! DO NOT WASTE TIME LOOKING ANY FURTHER! They’ve repaired 3 different appliances. When I’ve called for service, they show up fast, sometimes same day! Unheard of old-​fashioned service & super nice people too!
