Some of if not the best breakfast in town. We come weekly or more often. Their specials are always good and often unique. The food is only surpassed by the great service and friendly attitude. Dean always welcomes his customers from the kitchen. There are several must try items on the menu. First off of course are the sweet potato pancakes. A wonderful flavor and served with cinnamon butter. Another favorite is the chicken fried chicken. Perfect gravy and crispy breaded chicken. Add pepper and onions to the home fries, well worth it. If you want a departure from the normal toast routine try the sweet potato bread. Be sure to get it grilled. Again served with cinnamon butter. Between the warm, friendly service and fabulous food your visit will be a win/win!

The Sweet Potato Café was a great little place to grab some breakfast in Prescott! We had a party of six, so we sat ourselves and our waitress was very friendly. They had a great menu selection and I ended up getting the Big Boy Omelette with three different meats. Weird name, delicious omelette. The potatoes were tasty, and although the toasted pumpkin bread looked like a burnt piece of salisbury steak from a microwave dinner, it was delicious with the cinnamon butter spread. Yum. Easy 4/5, the only ish was that it was pretty loud for a Friday morning. I’d still definitely go back, you should check it out as well!

We were very disappointed. We had driven by the café numerous times so we were excited about finally being able to stop in. The presentation and quality was disappointing. And the food was cold!

Cinnamon rolls that melt in your mouth, outstanding sweet potato pancakes and bread, and deep dish pies, all without costing an arm & leg.

Loved this place! We go to Prescott each year for the courthouse square lighting. We used to go to another restaurant for breakfast, but this is now our place! The food was awesome! Service was good. Definitely a keeper!

AMAZING sweet potato bread and pancakes! And the cinnamon butter just adds to the wonderful. The omelets are big, fluffy, and tasty. A big breakfast for a very reasonable price. We have found our new breakfast place!

Okay this place IS cash only. Which sucks, but the breakfast is amazing. Please try the sweet potato pancakes or loaves. So delicious. I’ve never had lunch here, and I probably never will. Their breakfast is enough for me, and they ARE known/named after their sweet potato breakfast items… Definitely a favorite! Everyone I’ve brought to eat here has been pleased, and btw the portions are giant.

Really good food really good service but i wont be back beeecause(drum roll) CASHONLY. I use my credit card for my transactions. They seriously need to rethink their position or at least have the server make it clear before you order. Ya and no one notices your little signs. P. S. Sorry to the waitress that you got a 30 cent tip. I luckily had just enough cash to cover our meal.

In my opinion this is a best breakfast spot in town. The Chicken fried Chicken and Steak are to die for!

Small diner-style establishment offering breakfast and lunch. Limited parking but worth a trip for the great food, good service and prices. The décor is nothing to write home about but who cares, the food more than makes up for it. There are not a lot of vegetarian options but enough to keep us happy. Hubby ordered the Garden Omelette with hash browns and sweet potato pancakes, and I had the Scrambled Egg Whites made with spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, diced green chilies, avocado, and salsa. We were dying to try the sweet potato pancakes, given the name of the café, and were wowed. The flavor was just sweet enough to not need any syrup and the texture was fab. They didn’t last long! Both the omelette and scramble were tasty, without being overwhelming in flavors. We noticed that nothing was greasy, not even the hash browns. I loved the plentiful fruit salad as my side dish and the rye bread was plump and tasty. Service was also quick and friendly. This is a cash-only place so make sure you bring some notes but our meal with a cup of coffee came to just over $ 20. For that much tasty food, we were more than happy and will definitely be back.

Good quality food, good & friendly service, a tad pricey depending on what you order. Oatmeal is $ 6.99. Grits are $ 6.99. Grits are usually a side dish for $ 1.99.

Do the come here too often since I don’t normally have the time. But when I do I always leave with a full stomach and a smile on my face! The staff is friendly and I’ve never had an order wrong. I’m a picky ass eater so I’m always changing something lol.

The food was great, and the service was friendly, with top notch coffee, which is a MUST with breakfast. I had the sweet potato combo: two huge sweet potato pancakes with scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. Delicious! My husband’s omlette was fluffy, and the grilled sweet potato bread should not be missed. The only downside was having to defend my food from a particularly aggressive fly.

This place is great for breakfast, and you better come in hungry because the portions are huge! Great prices for what you get, average $ 10 per person on our visit today. Highly recommend getting sweet potato bread(fried) instead of toast or pancakes. That bread is crazy good!
