We called and called and called. We knew they needed 2 – 3 days notice. We wanted to ride on Monday so I started calling on Friday. No acknowledgement until I finally called the cell phone number and the guy who answered sounded irritated that o bothered him. He told me the weather had been bad(where?!) and he would have to find a ranger. He texted back that he couldn’t get anyone to help us until Thursday. Sorry. Bad customer service all around. We found another stable that was more than happy to provide some horses to fulfill my girls’ spring break wish. Looking to ride? Don’t bother with Granite Mountain Stables. They don’t seem to care about your business.

The grandkids were in town, and we chose Granite Mountain for their first horseback riding experiences. The staff were very nice and accommodated 3 inexperienced riders and their mom, who was an intermediate level rider. They made us feel comfortable that the kids would have a great time and a safe ride. Thank you Granite Mountain for making their first experience one they will fondly remember!
