Clean, organized store. Been in other Big 5’s around the holidays and they are a total mess. Bought some hiking shoes and the guy working the shoe area was helpful and very polite. Manager was there, same as the guy working the shoe area, nice guy as well. He noticed my Charger shirt and we chatted about football while I was trying on shoes. Nice place, will shop there again.

The location is a little awkward, some hours there’s a traffic jam from the nearby school.
I was looking for a backpack the other day, my old Jansport is breaking down from a decade of use, and after a few moments a staff member found the right tool to help bring some packs down from their out of reach location … ultimately my search was unsuccessful considering the stock on hand, the staff member essentially shrugged as to if or when they’d get any different choices.
