I’m giving 5 stars for the muffuletta. The best I’ve ever had. Bread was killer! Service was great.

Three stars for recent visit and Four stars for past visits. I have been here a few times now for both dine in and carry out. Everything I have from here has been good. They have recently changed their menu by adding new things and changing the name of a couple of pizzas. On this occasion our choice was The Krewe (pizza formerly known as Sweep the Floor). The pizza was very good and fresh and it was waiting for me when I arrived.
Overall their food is very good and it has a uniqueness about it. However, something I noticed when getting my pizza is it was a little smaller than I remember it being in the past. Also another thing that changed with the menu is the price. The pizza was $ 16.00 and that was only a 12 inch medium. Luck for me, during the month of April, customers can return their old Rotolos cups and get a free pizza. If it wasn’t for that I probably wouldn’t have came here.
I suggest visit when it is Calzone Wednesday. They are $ 5.99.

I go to the Rotolo’s on Perkins on a regular basis for their calzones and I love them. I’ve ordered a calzone from this location twice now, and both times they were horrible — overcooked, tasteless crust and too few toppings. The cooks need to go to the Perkins location and learn how to do it right.
I can’t comment on the pizza, since I’ve never tried it. Though it seems pricey.

I’m going to have to actually go and sit down to give it 5 stars, but yesterday, Hubs and I had woken up late from late-​night-​party-​hosting-​duties the night before, and I mentioned briefly, «I could really go for a pizza!». He jumped on that with enthusiasm and suggested Rotolo’s since it’s close to our house AND they carried gluten free crusts AND I’d never had Rotolo’s before (I know, I know, Louisiana staple and all that…) We ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza on gf crust and it was ready within 20 minutes for pickup. Their sauce is good, different from other pizza places, but in a good way! Toppings were good, not too much cheese, and delicious crust. They had a good array of menu options (not all heavy Italian dishes) and for some locations you can order online, which I can see being very helpful!
We will definitely go there in the future to see how the in-​house service stacks up to the food!

That’s what the headline should read for this place!
Good anytime but Wednesdays are when it kicks into high gear cause that’s when they do their $ 5.99 for ANY calzone special … Yes… ANY CALZONE! And by 6:00 PM almost every seat is full. Deluxe Combo Calzone (hold onions and add olives) has my name all over it!
They also have pitcher beer specials the same night for adult beer savor-​ers.
The staff is great… That’s why they almost always get homemade chocolate chip cookies from one local customer too!
Go for it one Wednesday … You’ll really like it!
