The staff was great! The people at the front desk were so welcoming, friendly and patient. The massage itself was good but not the best in my opinion. I wanted deep massage and I think he was trying to be gentle with me even though I wanted it deeper. I was going to give it a 3 based on the massage itself but the reception area was that good that I bumped it up a notch.

After reading the horrible reviews for this place, I was reluctant to make an appointment. However, I really needed a massage (bad month, more stress to handle than I’ve had in a very long time, etc., but I digress). I don’t have a regular therapist, but I’ve had several massages in the last ten years. I went in for a «relaxation» massage, and Vanessa was great. Perfect pressure and intuition in terms of what might be hurting. The only downer to this otherwise great experience was the high-​pressure sales pitch upon checking out.

I’ve been to this Massage Envy a few times in the past year. Until today, each visit was okay – definitely nothing memorable.
But today, Marilyn gave me the best massage I think I’ve ever had (maybe 40 in total over 20 years) – it was unreal.
Big thumbs up for Marilyn. I’d highly recommend her. :)

I usually get a 1 hour massage about 4 – 5 times a year at a different salon. I am used to paying $ 80 plus tip, and after a stressful day I decided to try this place at the last minute. I regret this decision. My therapist went from touching with no pressure (which I find extremely irritating) to using so much force I had to stop him TWICE for hurting me. I always ask for deep pressure and am used to the «OK, this kinda hurts, but I can breathe through it and I know I’ll feel better tomorrow» feeling. This was pain. And after I told him it hurt, he went straight back to that spot and pushed harder! I finally had to tell him to stop. He said I must have come into the place with some pain in that area that I wasn’t aware of. Really? I didn’t leave a tip and will not be returning.
