Exactly What part of ‘not intended to decieve’ did you not intend to do? Sell the car thousands above book value with critical part(s) completely inoperable? Clamping over the wastegate, rather than replace it, and the turbo as it should have been done? Intentionally selling the car this way, without telling your customer? Knowing, or should have known full well that it needed thousands of dollars worth of additional work before leaving your lot? After all, you admitted to knowing the wastegate was clamped over, so in my opinion, and other mechanics I spoke with, you had to have known it needed work. Two other trusted mechanics in the area laughed when I told them this story, and showed them the rotted, clamped over part. They couldn’t believe that any dealer would ever sell a car like this, rather than do the right thing and replace it prior to sale, or at the very least inform the customer prior to purchase. I don’t disagree with you that cars can be expensive to repair. They are especially moreso when they’re sold in a broken, rotted state to begin with. I’m not talking about«some» repairs here, and you darn well know that. «Customer satisfaction»? Really Gary? Calling me a «homo» in a parking lot? I’ve been called a lot of things in my lifetime, but that comment you shouted at me out of your car window in the parking lot at Winchesters two days before Valentines Day just takes the cake. Over what? A bad review? Shame on you sir, shame on you. You’re not in grade school anymore. Grow up. At no time Gary, was this ever a personal attack. All I ever asked for you to do was fix what you knew had to be broken on the car when you sold it to me. I don’t think that was ever asking a lot, and you couldn’t even manage to do that without first promising to fix it for free, then trying to squeeze more money out of me over and above what I already paid you. It’s okay to be mad Gary. However, I believe you’re just mad, because you got caught, and for that sir, you have only yourself to blame. At this point, I’m expecting nothing less, than a personal hand-written apology mailed to my address, along with some denomination that represents the thousands of dollars I had to put in to get this fixed properly. You sold this for thousands over book value admitting later certain parts were completely broken. If you ever want to fix this… you know… that«customer satisfaction» you eluded to in your comment… and start talking dollars, and some amount of sense, you know how to contact me.
