Food Lion

So as my family was checking out the other night, this girl gave us some serious attitude. Then she got on the intercom and was visibly upset as she called the manager and mouthed off to him in front of us and several other customers. Pretty disrespectful. My family has been coming here for years but better, cheaper options have opened. I won’t be back. The experience was too strange and too awkward.

It’s your standard grocery store. The pricing is pretty good. The layout is a little strange in terms of where items are.
The seafood section is a little lacking, but that seems unfortunately common for the grocery stores in this area. The meat section is alright. The frozen food section is pretty solid and they have a lot more vegetarian/​vegan items than the nearby Wal-​Mart. The frozen vegetables and fruits seem like they’re better priced as well. The produce looks pretty great and well taken care of. The deli seems like it’s got a really nice selection, so that’s good. The beer and wine selection is pretty decent.
I’m coming here from Texas, where we’re gifted with the amazing HEB. I was hoping this would be somewhat close, but unfortunately not. It could certainly be worse, so I’ll be happy to make due with what they have to offer.
