This is a great campground! The sites are large, the scenery is breathtaking. No pool chairs at all??! «They keep getting broken». Welcome to taking a hit for the good of the customer. Buy chairs, your clients will notice. The VIP site 118 is perfect for many reasons. Quiet. After checking the bathroom and shower I found they were very clean. The store is a good one. Wifi is only available at the office. My Verizon has been great. Super café by the pool and tons of play equipment for kids. Great for dogs too. Room to run. No K9 park though. Would have been 4 – 5 stars except for the lack of deck chairs… big issue said all. We camped here in a 38′ Class A with a tow. Already extended– Will return.

My wife and I traveled to Powhatan, VA for the Powhatan Festival of Fiber. Looking to stay relatively close by on a budget, we decided to tow our camper and stay at the Cozy Acres Family Campground. We were there for three nights, pulling out on Monday morning. Here are the positives: — The campground itself is a beautiful area! — Majority of the sites are pull-through sites with power/water/sewer hookups(30 and 50 amp hookups were available). — Bath house facilities were decent, although the stalls were a bit cramped. Here are the drawbacks: — The entrance is gated and controlled with an RFID card. You have to pay an additional $ 10 for a card, but that money is refundable upon check-out. Unfortunately we were not made aware that the $ 10 was refundable. — It is a touch on the expensive side as far as campgrounds go. Three nights was just over $ 130. Still more affordable than a hotel, though. — Staff were not always there during posted store hours(particularly later in the day on weekends). All in all, would we stay here again? Most likely.
