I was a somewhat regular customer for a while. I ordered a pizza for delivery a while ago and it was burned beyond belief. I know sometimes you’ll get a pizza and it will be a little too brown, but this was way too burned. The bottom was almost completely black and the top had some black and a lot of brown spots. Not edible. I get that some times people may make mistakes, but serving this to a customer is inexcusable. I didn’t order here for almost a year, but thought I’d give it another shot. The last time I went here they still burned it. It wasn’t black everywhere like the other one, but it was still burned.

Pizza was cold and undercooked. Pepperonis were rubbery and for the price completely not worth it. Used to love Masseys but hate to say it has gone downhill. The sauce had no flavor. Majorly disappointed with this place and won’t be back unfortunately.

Masseys pizza is the perfect balance between crust, sauce, and toppings. In Powell, it is tucked behind a more well-known local pizza restaurant, so we lived here for almost a year before we even tried it. It is now our go-to pizza place! The chicken, bacon, ranch pizza is delicious as is their meat-lovers. If you want to spice it up a notch, substitute chorizo for original sausage on the meat-lovers for a real treat! They have online order capability and delivery usually within 40 minutes. If you pick up, it only takes 20. Although the location is relatively small in Powell, there is usually plenty of room for our family five to dine in. If you’re looking to support local business, try Masseys!

Have been to this Masseys about 100 times for their buffet! The pizza is outstanding, but what really made me want to write a review was their customer service. This is the only pizza buffet that I have been to that asks you what kind of pizza would you like on the buffet. They also will let you request any subs and Stromboli. Their cinnamon bread is to DIE for. Only issue is that some times you can not get a seat. The workers treat you like family. After I had been there a few times they always know what I am going to request and at times have already called it out to the back when the cashier saw me walk in the door! I have also ordered pies for pick up and delivery and always receive the same awesome experience. Wish I could give ten stars!

Our favorite place for pizza in Powell, Brooklyn Pizza, was closed, so we decided to give Massey’s a try. I liked the convenience of online ordering and delivery. We ordered a couple of pizzas, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. Estimated delivery time according to the website is 40 minutes. 55 minutes later, our food was delivered. I suppose we’re a little spoiled by picking up fresh, hot pizza at Brooklyn, so the barely warm specialty pizza was a bit disappointing. The other pizza was warmer, and the wings were hot. Mozzarella sticks, also barely warm. Both pizzas had a nice crust and good toppings, no complaints there. The mozzarella sticks were so-so, most had split at some point, I’m guessing if they were in good shape and warmer they’d be better. The wings had a nice sauce-but here is the reason for a three star review-the chicken itself. There was a very distinctive ammonia-esq flavor underneath the sauce, and the texture of the meat itself was slimy and soft. I’d say this chicken was more than a few days passed it’s expiration date. After the first awful bite the rest were tossed. Not sure if we’ll try them for pizza again-definitely not the wings!

Amazing cornmeal thin crust. Tons of toppings! Price was right. Wish the buffet had been out since it said on the sign it runs 11 – 2 maybe not on the weekend?

I can remember Massey’s Pizza having a Central Ohio presence since I was a kid. It’s good pizza and subs. Great tasting; not over baked. As many pizza places seem to cut back on ingredients, Massey’s seems to still load up their pizza with ingredients and keep their pizza competitively priced. I specifically went to Massey’s recently because of that … ordered a simple, large Pep with extra cheese. This location has a dine in area with several tables. Tables seemed like they would be a bit close. Tonight, my order was«to go». They do deliver within a 5 mile radius to the location. I’ll definitely be back.

One of the three best pizza places ever. LOADS of toppings, crisp crust, corn meal dusting, etc. Brought 5 of them, parbaked, back to the east coast last trip to Ohio and shared with our neighbors and friends who are begging me to open a franchise here. I miss you, Masseys!

I’ve been wanting to review this place forever, because it’s so awful! I can’t believe anyone who awarded them best pizza in Columbus. Planks Café on Parson’s hands down has the best pizza winning numerous awards and it’s been around like 50 years, Jim Tressel eats there as well as other local celebrities. Massey’s is like a rip off of Donato’s but not as good. Typical thinner crust pizza popular to the area but way worse. Pepperonis are small and gross, they put few toppings on it when you order extra toppings, hardly any sauce. Stay away! I usually advocate buying local but in this case call Papa Johns.

We went in here one night last year(yeah I know I’m behind on reviews) and decided to give it a go based on all the signs in the window. We made the mistake of ordering a meat lovers, or something like that, pizza. The crust wasn’t too bad even if it did taste too much like the cornmeal that was sprinkled on the board but the rest? The thing was piled with the meats and shrooms. Now normally that would be a very good thing but in this case it was overkill and undertasty and not enough cheese for my tastes. Stuff was falling off each slice when I would pick it up to take a bite. And the shrooms had that right out of the can taste about them as if they never saw any heat and were added after the pie came out of the oven. Maybe if we had ordered something less«the works» and something simpler we would have been better able to ascertain their merits. As it stands. Would never order that behemoth again and never went back. You may have better luck, who knows!
