Boneshaker Bicycles

This review is for their bike rental experience (for the Silver Comet Trail).
If heading west on the trail, there are two places to rent from that are directly along the trail.
In Mableton is Silver Comet Cycles, a couple of miles in. While this place is more popular of the two (due to location), it also has much more traffic (both pedestrians and bikes) and more street crossings.
If you’re willing to head further west, Boneshakers in Powder Springs is the better choice. The guys that run this place are extremely personable and more accommodating, since they’re more eager for your business. The selection of bikes is good and the price is more than reasonable.
In terms of the trail, there’s much less pedestrian traffic and street crossings out this way, since you are in Powder Springs.
From the north, take the East-​West Connector to get here, but from the city, it is best to head west on I-​20, then go north near Douglasville. Happy riding!
