The food is good but not so good I should wait half an hour for it.

this place is wonderful! everyone that works here works their asses off. their food is amazing. everyone is very nice. there’s nothing bad I have to say about Victors Kafe!

Their Greek food is AMAZING! Great taste, seasonings, it’s fresh. They are right by the hotel across the street. I’m sure they get a lot of business from the hotel. We tried the Greek Salad, various entrees including kabob… but apparently they don’t believe in air conditioning when it’s high 90 to 100+ degree weather so we were baking along with the food.
Here’s an idea — if you want to have more dine-​in customers instead of take-out…then maybe you should fix your A/​C! That’s why I’m giving you 4 Stars instead of 5!
The restaurant and seating is pretty simple so it’s not like a great place for first dates like some of the other Greek restaurants I’ve been to. However, if you have a shelter that is nicely air conditioned and you want to have excellent Greek food, then please order take-​out from Victor’s Kafe.

Great food (love the falafel and taziki) and friendly fast service. Would definitely recommend.

Pretty good for a fast lunch. It’s by my office and they do pick up orders although it gets pretty packed during lunch hour. I sneak in around 11:40 before the rush. I get the gyro plate with no onions because they do use a lot of onions. I also really like the falafel.

I always go here when i crave some greek food and its just down the street form where i work. i love their gyro sandwich they put a lot of meat for a reasonable price.

This is my second review on the restaurant and I must say, if you’re in the area this is THE PLACE TO BE!:) not only are the boys hospitality a grade-​A. The food is Scrumptious,

Good food. Decent price. Quick for lunch.
The food always comes out very hot so you know it was made recently, not sitting. Very tasty gyros and salads. Inside seating can be limited at peak times, but there are common benches outside around the corner. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. And they deliver!

Consistent and fresh. Service is great; the guys working there are always friendly and punctual. I am, and will be, a regular there.

I’ve only been here twice… the gyros salad was tasty and can’t remember what I had the previous time, but I liked it enough to want to come back. Atmosphere is so-​so but this is primarily a take-​out place so that’s OK. The guys that work there are nice and prices are reasonable. Definitely a go-​to Greek place for me.

This place is pretty good wished the portions were a little bigger but other than that they’re food is good. I would always call ahead and it would be ready in 15 minutes for pick up.

This is my go-​to lunch spot for my work days. The place is solid and have yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu. I’ve ordered the gyro sandwich (my personal favorite), the Greek salad, and some chicken combinations. Come in here and get fast, delicious food along with some friendly service.
I highly suggest getting the gyro sandwich if you’re looking for something classic and delicious. The pita break is warm and doesn’t fall apart. The sandwich is loaded with meat; so much so that you’ll have some leftover to go with their tzatziki sauce. The salad is delicious too with some good tasting whole olives and crumbled cheese. If your work in the Poway area and only have a half hour for lunch call in and pick up. Tastes just as good!

Went there yesterday and the food was delicious! I had a gyro plate with rice and it tasted great, the meat was delicious and the rice tasted so good I think i’ma have to try to convince my mom to start making it the same way!

Was in town for the weekend and looked up for quick eats in the area. Stopped by to check out their menu and ended up ordering from here :)
1. Avegolemono (Egg lemon soup made with rice & grilled Victor´s chicken tenders) — about 12 oz… Delicious! 1^st time trying this type of soup and enjoyed the tangy broth, rice and grilled chicken bits. My daughter loved it as well.
2. Gyro with greek salad — meat was good and pita was fresh; enjoyed the Tzatziki sauce and the Victor’s greek dressing for the salad

Best chicken salad I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try other items from the menu. They need more people. during lunch it gets a little hectic, but they still seem to manage the place well. Its a must try.

Decent Greek food only complaint the kabobs are on the small side but the staff is very nice and very helpful they are very down to earth

This is a great greek fast food place. The eating area is rather cramped around lunch time so it is better to order the food as a take out. You can tell that the owners are Greek so that always helps versus a chain like Daphne’s. I always get the Gyro and fries. meal it is the best. The parking can be a problem at lunch time to but oh well.
If you want great greek food for lunch you can’t go wrong by eating here. I really should branch out and try something else but I love the Gyros to much.

In all honesty for me, Viktors Kafe is hit or miss.
I eat there for lunch only and the chicken wrap and the gyros were incredible. Yet at other times the grilled chicken over salad and the pulled rotisserie chicken wrap were ok. It wasn’t that the food tasted bad, it was that flavor was lacking.
Rice pilaf is sometimes good and sometimes too salty and starchy and the same can be said for the salad, sometimes fresh, sometimes wilted and a little brown.
If anything I feel this place lacks consistency in freshness. Again, the food was never bad… just not fresh.
Service is friendly, efficient and quick.
Prices are very reasonable with plenty of parking

Small hole in the wall. The food? Excellent! I had a Gyros and it was excellent! This place almost reminds you of a small restaurant in Manhattan. They really try hard to make sure everything is perfect! I will be back, soon.

If you want to eat well in Poway pull into whatever strip mall you’re near and prowl around-​or of course, use the Unilocal app ;) Regardless of your search and destroy method, you’ll find cool and delicious little places like Victor’s. It’s industrial and residential heaven out there, but don’t give up hope!
Victors is a happy find and a solid four star lunch place, reasonably priced and fast as lighting, it was a good find and I snatched up a couple of menu options. The chicken plate was delish, over rice with salad, fresh and soft pita and nicely flavored chicken-​slightly dry, but only slightly and the yummy Tzatziki made up for it a bit. We also had a greek salad with sliced beef kabob-​realy enjoyed it.
Dining in I wouldn’t suggest unless you;re doing the quick break thing-​casual but loud. The service was a-​okay, the young guys that work there were friendly. All in all, a solid to-​go lunch place.
