Was concerned that they may not be interested in my little repair, but not so. They fixed the piece of my sectional sofa with a tear in the fabric quickly and beautifully! Great price, and extremely kind people as well. Now I don’t have to buy a new couch!

I’ve been to see Lupe & Carlos twice — first for a preliminary visit to get an estimate and look at fabrics… then went back last week to drop off my kitchen chair cushions for reupholstering.
Both Lupe & Carlos are super helpful and love to share their knowledge with you to help you make a good decision. Carlos even took me into his shop to show me the foam & polyester he would be using to redo the cushions.
Their prices are good and most of all you can see the passion L&C have in their craft. I am so thrilled to find a small local business with the experience. Looking forward to seeing Carlos’ handiwork soon!

Carlos and his wife are so friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. They even helped me pick up fabric.
Also, I didn’t have a car big enough to transport the furniture so Carlos came and pick it up for me. I trust them completely.

I had a fairly good size job for L & C Upholstery. They reupholstered 12 chairs, hemmed 8 curtain panels and sewed 4 pillow cases. Their work is top notch. Carlos will pick up and deliver your items – a godsend since I don’t have a van. He’s also very quick to get the job done (less then a week). They are a small mom and pop shop, so I liked the idea of supporting them – and they deserve it. I will definitely use them in the future – they rock.

THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!! Looking for a furniture upholstery shop with fine custom work? Look no further! I researched pretty much every upholstery shop in San Diego and came across L&C Upholstery. The reviews caught my eye as Carlos specializes in antique furniture. I had a chaise lounge (see pictures) from my grandparents and wanted to make it like new. It has been pretty beat up over the years, but I knew it was a diamond in the rough. Carlos is a fine craftsman & I felt so at ease leaving this piece at his shop. Within one week he had it completed & I couldn’t be happier. Not only did he replace all the stuffing, but also reconditioned the wood & reinforced all the joints (it doesn’t wobble and squeak like it used to). And the upholstery job is prime — he definitely knows what he is doing & doesn’t cut corners. We will definitely use him for ALL of our upholstery needs in the future. He takes such pride in his work. Thank you, Carlos & Lupe!
P. S. They have TONS of fabric options in the store, but we didn’t have time to look through everything while we were there. He told us if we found a fabric we liked somewhere else to get 4 yards of fabric. We only had a foot of fabric left over! Just enough to make a pillow or something to go with it. :) No waste!

L & C does the most detailed professional work and are super quick, friendly and honest. I have had them re-​upholster 8 different items and they have turned out AMAZING! They let me take my time picking out the fabrics and listening to exactly what I want. Everyone loves the furniture. I highly recommend them to anyone needing an upholsterer. I won’t go anywhere else.

In business for over 30 years, L & C Upholstery has done numerous pieces for us over the years, and we are very very pleased with their work. They have excellent quality fabric with a great selection, and do an excellent job. They pick up and deliver furniture to the house. Their prices are good, and also very easy to work with!
