It’s a mixed bag at this place but it comes down to the profession. When people, such at doctors, are elevated to the degree in which they have been in our society, there are bound to be issues. There is little to no accountability for their behaviors or actions. No matter how poor their bedside manner is, no one is going to make them change. Which is a shame really. We all should be held accountable. I’ve seen three doctors here: Hadley, Chymiy, and Matty. Hadley is the tops, a doc of the first water. Overall his staff has been attentive to questions and have returned calls reasonably well. Chymiy and Matty, though decent with a good staff, failed to come through as promised. They claim how they’re a team w/regards to prenatal care and that one of them would be available when childbirth arrived. When the time came neither one was available: one was on vacation while the other, who was on call, «had plans» that evening when called and chose not to come. Thanks for being there!

When they say it’s a short wait for prompt care they mean an hour and a half plus; which isn’t all that bad because you’re going in without an appointment. But after I waited for 2 hours the doctor spent exactly 3 minutes with me, I understand they are busy but I paid and waited to come in to see a doctor so I’d like to not feel rushed when I actually get to see one. MYBIGGESTISSUE was when I called back a couple days after going in with follow up questions; the doctor I had seen wasn’t in so I was connected with Dr. Ludwig’s nurse who was ridiculously rude, uncaring, and seemed as though it was her goal to make me feel inferior and uneducated. I’ve had sinus infections constantly throughout my life so I know what I’m dealing with and yet she acted like I don’t know what antibiotics do. She was the sole reason for me writing this post, I don’t have negative feelings towards the whole clinic just towards jaded insensitive nurses who forgot what patient care is all about. The sad part is that Dr. Ludwig may be a fine doctor, but due to this encounter with his nurse I will never see him because she has no patient care awareness.

Good news is: if you go to Prompt Care, you’ll generally be seen, well, promptly. Bad news: Don’t expect the greatest bedside care. When I have to see 3 different doctors before one finally diagnoses me with pneumonia, there’s something wrong. Also, I have NEVER gotten a call back. Ever. If you want to talk to a human being, you have to keep calling until one answers.
