Employees actually said they were relieved I would gift wrap my own item.

I would leave negative stars if I could for this store. The customer service is abhorrent! I called to make a purchase and was told I would not be allowed to purchase the item, unless I bought several other pieces as well??? Have you ever been denied a sale because you weren’t purchasing enough things??? Called to talk to the owner and never even received a phone call back. I have been trying to get a hold of the manager for a few weeks now and have been unable to. The lady that helped me was extremely rude and I caught her in a few lies, which was needless to say, uncomfortable as I called her out on them. The price was higher than other Hallmark stores for the same item, and they refused to sell these for the sale price that ALL other Hallmarks were honoring. Super shady sales practices!!!

It’s a Hallmark. They have lots of cards to choose from. They also have various sentimental gifts to buy should you be in the market for any. The staff has always been nice and efficient. Nothing to complain about or rave about.

I also just walked out after the rudeness I encountered. My children were picking out a card for their cousin and a staff person who had been glaring at us since we walked in marched over to them and grabbed the cards out of their hands right in front of me and yelled at them for touching the cards. Seriously? She grabbed the card that I had asked my daughter to hold because we were going to BUY IT. She also snapped at them for pushing the button on a singing stuffed animal, you know the button that says «try me?» I finally said to my kids, «Never mind, let’s go buy a card at Albertsons. I don’t want to spend my money here.» I had also been planning to buy some frames and ornaments and a gift for my niece because I had a coupon. It is so sad and disappointing that the Bainbridge store closed where the staff were SOOOO friendly and sweet to children. We will never return to the Poulsbo store.
