Llama Rose Farm is hands down the best venue on either side of the sound. We researched and visited MANY places-from Seattle to the Eastside to the peninsula-but the moment we walked through these gardens, we knew this was THE place. It is easy to get to from any starting point(a big concern as most of our guests were coming from out of town) — it is under an hour from Seattle or Seatac, and the journey is pretty whether you ferry or drive. Emily, Charles and family(even the dogs!) were immediately welcoming. We felt like we had made friends even before we had made our decision. The venue itself is amazing. There is a farmhouse(where the owners live), a huge barn, and a couple of smaller barns-nestled under towering trees and completely surrounded by gardens. Beyond the fences on one side are wild forests, on another the land juts steeply up… dotted with rocks and llamas! The big barn has really neat areas for everyone to get ready. It is a working barn, but they have a few finished places that became the groom’s room and the bridal suite. The bridal area has fantastic vintage furniture and a private bathroom. The«groom’s room» Is a large space with a mirror, a bar and even a guide on how to tie the tie! One of my favorite touches was a bible and duct tape on a shelf in the groom’s room… one of them will fix it! The gardens are nothing short of spectacular. It is a perfect blend of botanical elegance and rustic charm. The tiers allow you to put your own touch on every area and it all flows perfectly together. Everywhere you go there is another thoughtful touch– from the tiered landscape to the barns to details on the gates. Beautiful hanging lights, tiki torches and a campfire make dusk/night beyond magical. One of our guests actually said«this is the kind of place where I can imagine fairies coming out of the gardens». Emily and Charles are absolutely perfect. Emily taught us how to walk(we didn’t know) and timed it with our DJ. Charles was there all day during our set up, and helped us with everything from a tray for the fruit to random wood to place under our lawn games. When the big moment came, and I was beset by anxiety, Emily took me out to see the llamas and gave me lavender to calm me. They are event coordinators, advisors, gardeners, therapists– friends! I cannot recommend this place enough. I plan to return for a reunion as soon as I can… and I will find more excuses to have parties here. Thank you so much Llama Rose Farm!!!

We recently had a wedding for our daughter at the Llama Rose Farm & Gardens and I cannot say enough GREAT things about the venue and the owners Charles and Emily. The made the event so very special and carefree for us. First the grounds are so beautiful and well maintained, every corner you looked at was like a picture from a magazine. The layout was a preface design for the wedding and the reception. Secondly Charles and his wife Emily were the BEST assistance you could have asked for. There knowledge and recommendations were key to making the wedding a stress free event. Emily was so helpful to my wife with the fine details that would have been missed. Charles was a superhero for last minute things for when the weather turn a little on us, he knew what to do way before it needed to be done! Finally the true testimony was from the guest, they loved the venue and the atmosphere! They talk so highly of the place and were equally impressed with the whole experience. Again thanks for the special day you were able to provide for our family on the special day! I cannot say enough about Llama Rose Farm & Gardens, it is truly a hidden gem in the heart of North Kitsap.
