Aperture Piercing

Didn’t get any piercings or tattoo’s here, but I stopped in to pick up some new septum jewelry. The person that helped us (which I believe was the owner?) was super knowledgeable about their products and was patient enough while my friend and I chose what to get. Not to mention he gave honest suggestions about ring diameters and even threw in jewelry care information which is greatly appreciated. By the way, there is an awesome selection of jewelry there. I would highly suggest!

I went here to get my septum done and it was such a great experience. The shop was clean and professional. The prices are reasonable. Jake did my piercing. He made me feel very at ease and comfortable. He told me everything I needed to know to clean it, what jewelry I should get since I have to flip it up for work. It was all around a great experience!

Needed mom’s ear ring out of her ear, the screw on backing just spinned and wouldn’t come off. 5 minutes and he had the back off and saved the ear ring. A major thanks

I’m not much of a «yelper», but I felt I needed to make an exception for Aperture. I went in for a piercing yesterday, and had a wonderful experience. Very professional, very clean, and you could tell the people there really love and care about what they do!

I went back to the studio to get my nipple pierced and had another great experience.
Jake was the one to do the piercing; he went over everything with me and was very respectful given where I was getting pierced.
I plan on going back to get my other nipple pierced once this one heals.

Just got my septum pierced here and had a great experience! The people were so friendly and really knew what they were doing. I don’t have a lot of piercings but the ones I do have came with really bad experiences so I was really nervous about getting this one done. They walked me through the entire process and were so thorough and detailed that it made me a hundred times more comfortable. I’m in love with my piercing and the owners of this shop made me feel very welcome. The prices were very reasonable, too, and I walked out paying exactly what I was expecting to. It’s not cheap but so worth it for the professionalism that you get. I’ve had cheap piercings before and it has been terrible, so paying a bit more is not a problem. They also have a really beautiful selection of all different kinds of jewelry. I will definitely be coming back here for any future piercing or body jewelry needs!

This place is awesome! I came in with my teenage daughter and had several questions about earlobe stretching. Jake and Kerry were very professional and answered all of my questions. They are very knowledgeable and took their time to make sure you are well informed and comfortable before getting anything done. I really liked the fact that they are genuinely concerned with safety and doing whats best for your body. The shop is well laid out and extremely clean. My daughter walked out very happy after her first stretch. From now on, this will be the only place my daughter goes to get her piercings done. She is also recommending this place to all her friends. Thank you Jake and Kerry for bringing your talents from Seattle and opening up shop here in Port Orchard.

I decided to reward myself with a piercing for completing a very rigorous, time-​consuming project. The last time I had gotten pierced, I lived on the Seattle side of the water and my go-​to of Slave to the Needle was off-​limits since obviously I’m over here. I read some great reviews of Aperture and their prices weren’t so cheap to make me think they might do crap work, but not so prohibitively expensive to be out of the question.
I was greeted immediately and all three people I dealt with were extremely friendly. Jake Gentle-​Hands was incredibly professional and told me exactly what having a needle shoved through my nose would feel like. It was over in seconds and I was on my way.
Months later, after having some healing issues (not the shop’s fault), the piercing finally healed to a point that I could get new jewelry put in. I talked with Jake again about prices and pieces and decided on what I wanted. He asked if I wanted him to put the new piece in, since the first time can be difficult to navigate, so I agreed. We went upstairs he put in the new piece and within minutes I was out of there. If I ever decide to get something else pierced, I’ll definitely go back to Aperture.

Came here based on all the great reviews on Unilocal.Was really nervous before hand but Jake made me feel welcome and he did a great job. Got in 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment, the process was quick and easy. He spoke softly but directly about the piercing process and after care. The shop was very clean and well maintained. He kept asking if I had any questions several times, and even though I didn’t, it was nice that he cared. Before I could even ask, he told me I could lie down which I was nervous about because I had seen videos of eyebrow piercings where it looks uncomfortable sitting up straight. He gave good direction and told me when to breathe. I barely felt a pinch and it was over! I couldn’t believe how fast and painless this piercing was. My girlfriend was there with me and said because my reaction was way better than expected, she was considering getting a piercing too! I definitely recommend Aperture Body Arts and Jake «Gentle Hands».

I had my «so called septum pierced» a week earlier in silverdale. It hurt still after a few days I wondered why so I checked my nose ring out. Long behold my septum was NOT pierced !!! The shop in silverdale pierced the bottom skin of my nose! After taking the ring out and searching up «bad septum piercings «I was convinced I wanted this re done but did not want to go back through that ordeal again or back to that piercer ! I found this shop in downtown port orchard and knew right when I walked in. This guy knew his stuff! He calmly and not arrogantly pierced my septum. It was awesome! Done correctly an absolutely pain free. Please. Please! Make sure your piercer knows what he is doing or you could go though the potential nightmare I went through… Just because they say they can pierce or have a license to do it does not mean they should or can! Thank you for giving me what I wanted safely and professionally!
