My experience is that they went to the roof however they never took the Chimney cap off. Then they broke a metal tab trying to get the flue open inside the fireplace insert. They were to return the following week to replace but of course they did not and refused to return the telephone calls.
I got a new recommendation from The Heat Revival in Pleasant Valley who came the following week and cleaned a ton of residue and creosote out of the chimney and replaced the part that Tri Chimney Broke.
There are several capable, competent and conscientious chimney clean and repair people in Dutchess County. Call one of the companies that sell and install heating equipment for a recommendation.

If there is anything at all that you need for your fire place or chimney this is the only show in town! Professional, fast, and knowledgeable! I had an issue with my chimney smoking into my house and I called on a Sunday expecting to wait until Monday to get a call back, within 5 minutes they called me and came right away! In addition to saving the day they gave me a discount for booking next years cleaning on the spot. Great company. HIGHLY recommended!
