Bowling is one of our favorite pastimes, we are on a weekly league, and love to also go when we have free time to practice and just have a relaxing time. That being said, I must say we really hate the new«Timed» bowling they offer, no more pay by the game, EXCEPT mon-Friday BEFORE5 pm, who can do that? So it’s $ 12.50 for a half and hour, $ 25 for an hour. Any deals? No. We are league bowlers, we never sat down, and could only get 1 game and 9 ½ frames in before we were shut down. RIDICULOUS! We were so stressed out about trying to finish, we did lousy. We used to stop, get something to eat, maybe a drink or 2, now you have to rush to try to finish«on time». I think that they’re going to drive people away with this new format, instead of bringing them in, now that I heard Wappingers will be doing the same format soon, we may have to check out Fishkill bowl again, too bad. Bad enough they took all the lockers out, so we have to carry everything so they can have the new«game area», which looks like very expensive games to me, and I happen to see absolutely no one using… Probably because they were rushing to finish their bowling game. Good luck with the format.

Great alley… They have a deal, not sure when it doesn’t run, but it has always been on when we go… $ 23 for a lane for an hour with shoes included… Bumpers raise and lower automatically for each bowler, a really nice feature… Anytime there has been a mechanical issue they have added time to our hour… You can see the time remaining on the screen, also a nice feature…

Haven’t been in many years. Was there on April 13th for a couple of hours. It now has wheelchair access to lanes with unisex accessible bathroom on west end of building and accessible women’s room by main entrance. Staff was helpful, courteous, and experience was without any problems. This is a huge deal because back in the day it wasn’t like this. They also added some new technology and scrubbed the place down a little. Good for them. Will go back without hesitation if opportunity present itself.

I’m seriously not into bowling. It’s not my thing. I’m not about being Roy Munson, but it was fun because we were finishing my son’s 4th birthday party. I can fell you that little children love bowling… a lot. They use that metal ramp thing and they have a ball! For the area it’s in, I give a lot of kudos because it’s very clean and you somewhat forget that you’re lurking outside Main Street Poughkeepsie. I would come here again if the right circumstances surface. Come back to take that big black ball and knockout those 10 white red-neck pins… HAHAHAHAHA!

There aren’t many bowling areas in this area, even though it’s a relatively heavily populated suburb of the Hudson Valley. It also doesn’t appear to have changed much at all in the last 15 years at least(as far back as I can remember since I didn’t care what places looked like when I was a kid) — this includes the décor, the food location, the video games, the available bowling balls, etc. But it does have a pro-shop that’s pretty helpful and awesome as I remember(although I haven’t been there since 2003), and they do have a bunch of lanes. They also try to space people out appropriately where the one in Wappingers often does not(which is super annoying on a Saturday night). Their new key pads are pretty confusing too and it would be nice if they had a tutorial and didn’t make it your own personal cryptogram to figure it out. All in all, what you expect from a bowling alley.
