If it was possible to give this company 0 stars, I would. Their customer service is absolutely ATROCIOUS. I have spent countless hours dealing with these people, and I am consistently faced with rude, abrasive service. I once spent over 2 hours on the phone with this company, trying to pay a bill for a property I reside at; however, the bill is not in my name, but my in-laws. I was put on hold for outstanding wait times, spoken to with arrogance and attitude, and accused of forgery for a name I signed — which was my own! I was transferred to multiple different people, each of which kept giving me the wrong information. After trying for over an hour to obtain my account number it was given to me — except it was an account number for SOMEONEELSE! When I went to pay, I almost paid someone else’s $ 400 electric bill. The women that work here are cold, insensitive, abrasive and have no manners at all — the company may want to consider hiring some new staff.

I have had billing problems with them. They are charging me for electric and gas on an apartment I did not live in in Tivoli. Usually when I call them about my I am on hold for so long I give up. I have literally been on hold for more than 45 minutes. I don’t believe that my case is typical, but they continue to send me an embarrassing bill, and I cannot believe that this is still going on, it has almost been six months of dealing with them. I know that the hudson river valley is remote and there may not be many other options but the way they have treated me and ignored my case is absurd and they should be avoided at all costs

Despite this location being an official drop-off box for the only electric company in the Hudson Valley, I actually find that this is actually in a good spot for most people to drop their payments off by. Not many people in the area know about this box. Although they constantly lock their outside door to prevent people from coming in, the box is still a good thing to know. It does seem to be checked fairly often(as payments do get credited to the account fairly quickly). Despite no lighting helping to prevent theft from occuring in the drop-off area, if you go there, it may be bettter to drop-off during the daylight hours(i’ve found). Thanks again.
