Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for the first time and it wasn’t busy at all. The bartender was also the waiter and that scenario almost always means lackluster service at most restaurants but not the case here, I’m happy to say. He was very attentive. Burger and chicken quesadilla were both excellent. Don’t care for the coated fries though, prefer real, unadulterated fries. Steak fries would be a nice option, or handcut. Great rustic ambience!

Every time we have been in, it is dead. There isn’t much of a night life. The food is good, but the prices are a little high. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes you have a very attentive server or bartender, other times they don’t seem to care. This place could be a great spot to go, they just haven’t seemed to find the way to keep your attention.

These people understand how to toss an incredible swimming pool celebration. Tasty beverages, excellent group, better still services. Administration very useful and type, particularly Scott.

It’s not horrible… The food and atmosphere was sub par. The service was attentive and friendly but i can’t blame them for being bored. Triple T every time, no other events or entertainers! Such a beautiful place, such a waste. If it was utilized properly, ITCOULDBE A HOTSPOTANDPUTPOTTSTOWNONTHEMAP!

If you plan to have a few drinks, you better bring a lot of cash. Place was expensive and we waited over thirty minutes for our order while the place was not even busy. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary. My onion rings were burnt. I was here years ago when it was a sports bar and it was great. There must be new owners or something. I heard from a friend that taking a family here almost breaks the bank. Pricey.

Food was bland and tasteless, it was better in the past, the chef may have changed, my wife’s chicken was overcooked as well.

There was something about this place… The vibe just wasn’t there. It was a beautiful place and the potential was there but something just didn’t click. It had two separate bar areas and upstairs seating. We found it weird that children and families were in the same area as the«drunken» population. We weren’t hungry so we decided to get flatbreads and the crab fries. The flatbreads were disappointing, the goat cheese was too dry and cheese was too bland. They need to consider using some more olive oil and spices to really make the flatbreads pop. A good point was the goat cheese– delicious. The crab fries were excelkent! I would go back just for those(a great recommendation from our bartender, John). They had real crab meat, old bay, and melted cheese. Only one person thought they were too salty. The potential is there for this place but the crowd is not! I Hope this was just a fluke.

As this place is right down the street from me, I was really hoping it would be good. But that is all it is– good. And sometimes not even quite that. As a vegetarian, I don’t have much to choose from. I liked the quesadillas, but the veggie panini is super dry and the stuffed tomatoes are pretty flavorless. The dish certainly could have used more than two small stuffed tomatoes. One night my husband got shrimp cocktail and they came up strewn on a bed of ice and weren’t even de-shelled.

Was hoping for more rustic historic charm given the name but alas its a sports bar. Kids got cheeseburgers and mac n cheese. Burger was good for kids but the mac n cheese was not very good. Wife got a burger well done and it was one step below charred. I ordered the shellfish scampi and was very happy, just too many capers for my taste. The shrimp in my meal was excellent. Now the real problem was the slowwww service. I will never understand why the give waitresses srvice in different parts of the restaurant. We were seated upstairs but she primarily had tables downstairs. So everything was super slow. Waitress was nice but due to slow service I dont think we’ll return. There was just nothing«wow» about the place. Disappointing.

Real pickle spears used for the fried pickles? How cool is that? Bartender John is great, waitstaff is great.

Well, I tried this place again tonight and it sucks. I found out first hand why this place is never busy, The food and drinks are overpriced and the staff is clueless. I paid $ 11.99 for a shrimp po boy which should have been a $ 7 sandwich at best. There was barely any shrimp on it, maybe a handful. Nice presentation until you bite in then its all bread. wtf? Wife tried the crab soup, it was ok at best. there is atleast real crab in it but it had very little flavor. For her entre she decided to try a salad. it as pretty big but they gave you this tiny little cup of salad dressing which would not have nearly been enough for the entire salad. She tried the cranberry basil vinagrette, whatever they gave her looked and had the consistency of cranberry sauce. garbage. the highlight of the meal was the pretzel sticks which were actually pretty good. this place is an appetizer place at best. the staff looks confused most of the time and there seems to be communication problems. we saw an angry patron get up, put a $ 10 on the bar and then leave because nobody bothered to serve him. the place is also very quiet, no background music so you get a weird vibe just sitting there. there was even one point where all the bartenders were gone and doing something else. nobody behind the bar. wtf? i wouldnt be surprised if this place is on Bar Resuse someday.

Kind of a standard sports bar. The food is good. I would even say the soups are great.

All things being equal, it’s a very nice place on the inside. The upstairs looks to add a nice touch, and the bar is lengthy with TVs galore and plenty of beer/drink specials. Jose was a good server, but never checked back in on us during dinner to see how our food was — otherwise we would have brought it to their attention then. That being said, the food is a mess. The fried pickles were the best part of the evening, but there was nothing special about them. Broad Street Cheddar Burger was dry and flavorless. If you’re going to put BBQ pulled pork on top of a burger, at least attempt to put some barbeque sauce on it? The Texas Toast they throw the burger on top of is… toasty? So dry, I was gasping for a drink. Burgers shouldn’t do that. The Southwestern Burger is one that they try to amp up as this big, flavorful burger topped with chili, bacon and«melted cheddar cheese»(which was just sprinkled on top, and not melted in the slightest). Ordered my burger medium, but about half of it came out well done. It’s like they were cooking it on a lopsided grill. It was overly dry in the middle, and tough to swallow without slapping ranch on the side. Good ideas, but horrendous execution.

My second visit here I was prepared for slow service. It didn’t seem as slow this time even though the place seemed more crowded. There was an Eagles game on the big screen and they seemed to be doing well since the place kept erupting into applause. The mood was infectious. I almost wished to be an Eagles fab. The waitress was attentive but every time she brought something to the table she had to climb a flight of stairs. The fish and chips had a serious lack of flavor but everything else was delicious. We had French onion soup, salmon niblits, pork medallions and Mac and cheese and green beans. Four stars because of the excellent food and good service. But they lose a star because it took so long.

I’ve been here twice, and while the atmosphere is really nice, and I like the location, the food never seems to be as good as it should. The menu reads really well, and everything sounds fantastic, but the execution always seems to be lackluster. I may go back, but it would have to be after I’ve exhausted several other options.

I had the pleasure of visiting here today for lunch with 5 co-workers of mine. The crab stuffed pretzel was amazing!(It tasted similar to an old recipe my mom used to make with shrimp in a Newburg sauce.) It was crabby, creamy and cheesy deliciousness! And the ginormous jumbo-sized burgers were so tasty and juicy. They offer many variations of their burgers, so the only problem you may have is choosing which one to order. The Old English burger was covered with caramelized onions, mushrooms and Swiss, then topped with bacon. Ooh-la-la! Yes, we had to ask for more napkins! They also offer an array of appetizers, panninis, flatbreads, wraps, and other sandwiches, plus dinner entrees of steak, seafood and pasta. All the food was fresh, and I can’t wait to go back for dinner and try their smoked Prime Rib. The service was good and the surrounding two-story main floor area was modern, roomy and had plenty of TV’s for the avid sports fan in your group. During October, they have a couple of special Oktoberfest menu items that I can’t wait to try(bratwurst with sauerkraut and swiss cheese, anyone?) I would definitely recommend this place for a couple’s night out, or to bring the family, or just to sit and unwind for a few adult beverages after a long day at work. It had a very relaxed feel and with scrumptious food like I was privileged to have today, you certainly will not be disappointed.

Hit or miss. They serve a little«beyond bar food.» Service depends on the server. Not my first choice in the area.

We have tried this location many, many times over the past six years, and while the atmosphere is very nice, the food has always been sub-par. It appears that things have changed since the most recent ownership change. My family stopped in for a quick dinner a few weeks ago. We all got burgers(though there were many other interesting items on the menu), and they were fantastic. We definitely plan to come back and try some of the more upscale offerings on the menu. I am thrilled that this great location finally has a menu worth coming back for!

Food was average, server was pretty good. This business has changed so many times that it’s hard to keep track, but this is the best it’s been so far. I’d give it another shot!
