I’ve been coming here for three years now. A clean salon, they are professional and kind. Great location too. Michael is my stylist :)

As an out-​of-​towner, and not a regular customer, I was able to book a same day appointment for a cut and color on very short notice. I’m always nervous about using a stylist other than my regular stylist at home. Christy Flanagan was amazing with suffestions for improvements and turning out a beautiful new style and color. I highly recommend her and this salon. Everyone there was great!

A little gem in Portsmouth that offers great service without the attitude. I’ve trusted Michael Wilson with my persnickety bob for almost two years and he never fails to deliver. The salon carries a small. but impressive cache of often hard-​to-​find hair care lines and Michael has introduced me to some hair-​saving treatments I can’t live without. Love Troupe!

I’ve twice come in here for a last-​minute haircut with Samantha. She’s great! I have short hair that often gets overgrown and sloppy. I’m no fashion genius, so I like that she looked at me and had a vision, which she then described to me to see if I was on board. It’s a bit shorter than I expected, but the haircut complements my features really well. I’d definitely go back.
I also like conversations with Samantha. She’s a winner!

After bouncing around from hair salon to hair salon, I have finally found one that I can call my own. Troupe Studio is fantastic. All of the stylists are very professional and friendly. They really make you feel comfortable and valued there. I had my hair cut by Michael and I really loved him. Not only was he kind and sweet, he really made sure he understood how I wanted my hair to look. He asked me many questions about my hair and really listened to my individual needs. He gave me a free sample of a hair product I can use and told me how to easily style my hair, without any heating devices. The man that shampooed my hair was super good and sweet too. It seemed like they all loved working there and learning from each other. Thanks for a great experience, Troupe!

The salon is clean, cute and small. It’s not stuffy or overly priced. Plenty of parking on Deer street and right across the street from the salt piles, Troupe is a great place to get a tremendous hairstyle without the hastle of being downtown. Samantha was my stylist. She was attentive not only to myself but my guest as well. She listened to what I was looking for and fit it perfectly to my face.
I love my haircut, I’m excited to go back for color, and can’t wait to see what we’ll do next.
