I like this location! !! I visit here at least once a month on average, but I’m sure it’s a little more. Nevertheless, my trips here are always 5 Stars. My most recent visit was on Christmas Eve to pick up my catered order. I usually use the location that’s closest to my house, but this year this one was my go to. I forgot the manager’s name that assisted me, but she seems to allllllways be here when I come here. She’s always on point and everywhere at the same time. Afternoon and evenings it seems, she’s there ready to lend a hand or two. I placed my order a few days before my pick up date and it was a smooth transition from ordering to pick up. I ordered the cooked food. Keep in mind you can order the same thing I did cold or chilled and you heat up when ready. But knowing myself and my family we want it already Ready to eat. All we needed to do was reheat it if necessary. The same quality service received on any other visit was nothing short of this visit last week. The staff is attentive and always willing to back each other up. Such an awesome display of teamwork. The parking is pretty cool. But the drive thru it’s designed a bit awkwardly… just be careful and look out for the hungry pedestrians. If you plan on dining in bring your kiddos with you, there’s an indoor playground that I’m sure they’ll love you even more for letting them play. There’s also outdoor seating if the weather is nice out. I’d recommend you visit here. Have fun :)

The only chickfila that I have ever had to take my sandwich back, it was burnt and dried out. I have noticed that is the norm there for the area they are in, they like it extra crispy.

The food was absolutely amazing as always!!! However when I took my family to the drive thru tonight to grab our dinner real quick we had the rudest cashier I’ve ever experienced at a chick-fil-a I’ve been to hundreds of stores and never came across a rude person working for them ever. I’m sorry Keeshara was having a bad night but to be handing out so much attitude is a little uncalled for. So hey if you want rude service visit the drive thru on a night when Keeshara is working. She won’t let you down.

Service very slow… only one person working the register. Drive thru was also wrapped around the building. However my cashier was pleasant his name was Maize. Food was descent.

this one is hit and miss, sometimes the service is right on, other times it is way off. I have gone through the drive thru multiple times to find out back at home or work that either my drink was wrong or something was missing from my bag. I do believe the morning service and food is the best at this location. It is great that one is finally in Portsmouth, I just hope they stay on top of their customer service.

I would have given chic fil a 5 stars but they did not honor my free sandwich coupon I received from Unilocal.The coupon clearly says show phone to redeem your free chicken sandwich, but the manager said I had to print it out –_-. Not happy

Compared to the other Chick-fil-a that I use in the morning this one has better Chicken Biscuits and worse service. I just hope it does not take on that«Midtown» dirty and rundown appearance, I guess because I am a little hard of hearing I seem to always have to ask the person on the other side of the intercom to repeat what they said. I seldom have that problem at the College Drive location so maybe the intercom needs changing. The drive thru lines seem always quite long. At first I thought it was due to the amount of customers but it seems that the staff is just not quite up to speed yet. So far the food is better than the College Drive location. I just wish it came with faster service.

Great location. Drive thru line can get pretty long. However they sometimes compensate you with a free chick fil a sandwich coupon if you have been waiting a long while. Keyword: sometimes. Inside is very clean and well kept. The crew is friendly and professional(Burger King across the street take note). And as always at any chick fil a, the food is consistently good.

We have eaten at this location twice now and absolutely love it. The service is great, the layout is awesome, and I am impressed with the drive through design and fluid workings of it contributes to the great service. Love to stop here whenever we are in this part of Portsmouth!!!

I am so sad that this Chick-Fil-A has succumbed to that which is typical of Portsmouth restaurants. I went with my family the other morning for breakfast. Holy cow hands down the WORST Fil-A experience I have ever had. The forgot our Hashbrowns so we had to park and I ran in. I told them they forgot to put them in the bag. What I expected was an apology and the hash browns. What I got was quite different. I told them I had JUST come through the drive-thru and the hashbrowns weren’t in the bag. No apology, but They wanted to see my receipt. I had to run back out to my car because I hadn’t brought it in, only to realize they never gave us a receipt. Grabbed our food bag for proof and went back in. Manager didn’t apologize, she looked at me with the most absent minded, inconvenienced, look on her face. Asked me about 5more questions that I had already answered. walked S-L-O-W-L-Y back to the food area and bagged the three boxes of hash browns. Handed them off to the cashier without a second glance at me. I asked the cashier if that woman was a manager and she said yes she was one of them. I responded by saying«She has too bad of an attitude to be a manager at chick-fil-A» the cashier nodded in agreement. After getting back to our car and heading on our way we began to eat… blah. Dry biscuits, old bacon/eggs that had dried on the edges, the hash browns were way too salty and the coffee tasted like it had been sitting too long. I am so disappointed. I really need to get the contact info of the franchise owner to let them know what is going on at this location. Anyone know how I can do that?

LOVE this place! It is busy at lunch time, but everyone is so friendly and upbeat. The food is awesome too. I will definitely go back. And I love that they don’t work on Sundays. It shows that they appreciate their employees.
