A hidden gem for sure!!! We found The Family Corner on our way home after everything seemed closed on a Sunday in Quincy. I had the Chicken Pesto sandwich and my husband had the Chicken Parmesan, both were delicious! We will be back!

We were driving through town and this was the only place place open on a Sunday afternoon. Boy were we glad too! The food was delicious. They had something that every member of my family liked. The waitress was super friendly and provided the best service around! We will definitely make this our come back to spot when we are in the area.

I have been driving through Portola on a regular basis because I had a house for sale in Quincy. The other day I stopped long enough to look at the fire damage they have had downtown. It’s devastating. I drove on down the street and discovered that this place where I used to get great Mexican food was again in business only this time it seems it’s Italian. I was so happy to find a spot in Portola to get some good food but on that trip it was not time for me to eat so it seems I will have a treat in my future. I am certainly looking forward to my next trip to Quincy and I will plan it so that I hit Portola at mealtime!

My husband and I stopped here on a chance. Boy were we surprised! What a hidden gem! The place is small and not all that much to look at from the outside but it’s worth it. The food is fabulous! Place is small but it’s clean and welcoming. We got great service and staff were all friendly and pleasant. My chicken Alfredo was creamy but not too rich, just right amount. We even took some tiramisu to go! Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Very excited about this new restaurant in Portola. There are few eateries in this city and I was very impressed with the quality of my entrée (shrimp scampi). Much better quality in every way compared with the same dish I had in Graeagle. Hope everyone can support this new business

Best Food in Portola!
My new favorite. If you love Italian food… you will absolutely love this restaurant.
The inside is small but you can always get it to go, if restaurant if full
Oh…and the garlic bread is absolutely wonderful.

Located across the Feather River off Hwy 70 in old town Portola. New restaurant, great service, been three times. Meat lasagna is awesome! Spaghetti Marinara and with meat balls, it’s all good! They don’t have beer/​wire yet, have applied so it shouldn’t be too much longer.
