This place is a sorry excuse for a laundromat. In fact it’s was so shiity, I downloaded this Unilocal app specifically to explain my dissatisfied experience. Not only do less than half the machines operate, but they don’t wash anything well. Plus 6 out of 10 tries is what it took to make each coin count thru the machine. These machines are from the mid 1970’s and it really shows. The surfaces of not only the tables but the machines, were absolutely filthy. This place is worse than a dive. In fact I was so mad I took my wet clothes to another laundromat. I should have trusted my gut when I first opened the door and saw this sign that was totally mis spelled. What a joke. This place would serve better the community if it was demolished.

This place stinks like feces and only 1 of the 3 large front load washers works. Walked in and out. No on site manager and terribly neglected facility.

Holy shit! This place is ghetto! It’s very dirty, several of the machines are broken, the floor was COVERED in soapy water, which I slipped on and twisted my ankle. If you leave your clothes in the washer for 30 seconds after the cycle has ended, some strange creep will take it upon themselves to begin removing your clothes themselves so that they can put theirs in. I’m not even kidding, I was sitting at the table watching my load and as soon as it ended I picked up my purse and started walking to the machine only to be cut off by some eager dude who got there first and started removing my clothes. Never coming back to this one.

This is your standard laundromat. Small, but when I was here today all of the machines were in working order except one. It comes complete with the usual amount of creepy people, but an older lady let me have the remaining 15 minutes on her dryer so I feel it all balanced out in the end. Prices are average and there are lots of local businesses to wander around to while you wait. There is also a library and a Safeway within a few blocks, so it’s very convenient for running errands. I would come here again, but I would plan on being out and about and avoid waiting inside.

Tidy enough. Before I began laundry, I went to make change at their coin machine. It says on the machine it accepts 5s and 1s. I put in a 5. Got 1 dollar back in quarters. Called the establishment. Told the woman what happened. «Well that machine only takes ones.» Awesome. Business owner made no offer to refund the $ 4. I took my business elsewhere with no intention of returning. Poor business practice, folks. Don’t steal from patrons. Especially when there is a larger, better maintained laundromat just down the road.(52nd and flavel) that marks machines clearly when they are out of order.

Small place. Places to sit while waiting for laundry, and lots of businesses nearby to kill time. Standard laundromat prices. Washing machines could be better(the regular sized ones are kinda old school & aren’t energy efficient). Interesting people gather here, just like at all other laundromats. No complaints outside of the regular washers. Pretty standard laundromat.

Let me be the first to review this institution. The only reason to go here is for convenience. I’ve been taking my laundry here for 4 years, and in that time I watched it go from decently kept to terrible. The machines are frequently broken, drains back up and flood the floor, and the place is dirty most days. Be aware that the spot is a popular hang-out for neighborhood riff-raff, which might make some folks uncomfortable. Also, most of the time there isn’t muzak playing, but if you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to the sounds of the local Christian rock FM station. Taking my clothes here is a bit of like an abusive relationship; I’d rather have a cleaner, functioning laundromat, but this one is a mere 10 blocks from my house(and who can guarantee that other laundromats in the neighborhood are going to be functioning anyhow, this is outer SE Portland after all). Someone would do well to buy the owners out and fix the place up.
