Woodlawn Neighborhood Farmers Market

I’m soooo excited we have a Farmers Market going on in my neighborhood now! It is small but mighty and I hope it stays and grows!
We walked the ½ block down to check it out and get some lunch. There were four different food options — soup, tamales, BBQ or Peruvian fusion. I went for the BBQ — Terrel’s Texas Ba* B* Q, and did not regret my choice. I got a pulled chicken sandwich and is was AWESOME SAUCE. So tender and moist, the sauce was tangy with just the right amount of heat.
We picked up some local strawberries — so sweet and perfect. I got a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for $ 10 bucks.
There is a fantastic looking bakery, local produce, jewelry, shoes, live music, the soupcycle… so much more to try.
This will for sure be a Saturday ritual.
