The grilled pork banh mi was excellent! Really tasty and tender pork, fresh veggies, crispy but soft bread roll. Loved it! The mango smoothie was yummy too. Was a bit disappointed in the tofu salad rolls – they were pretty boring. Mostly rice noodles, with two strips of tofu and a small amount of lettuce and herbs. Would be much more interesting with a few more veggies, like cucumber, red bell pepper, etc. The peanut sauce was just okay, very thin and not flavorful enough for me. But I loved the banh mi! Will definitely be back for more of those…

The one man team was very nice and the food was alright. That’s about it. Nothing was amazing and nothing was terrible. I wished it would have been more flavorful.

I’m so happy that Vivi’s Yummy Rolls was OPEN!!! I asked for chicken lemon grass which isn’t on the menu. Without hesitation, I was reassured ur can be made without a problem! To say the least, it was by far delicious!!! And hopefully it will be apart of the menu soon. Ask for it! Spicy and straight up delicious!!! Thank you ViVi for taking me back in time. Where you can find a great plate of chicken lemon grass in 671!!!

I haven’t had the chance to try this place often yet but the pork bahn mi may be the best I’ve ever had. The bread was warm and crisp, the pork was flavorful and tender, and the sandwich was the perfect size and price. I also saw bahn mao and I heard the spring rolls are equally awesome. The service was excellent, timely and extremely friendly. I will have to be back to try everything else!

I came too early and found them not yet open. Had errands to do so moved on. Unilocaled Bahn Mi and went to another place. Mistake. That place, while rated 4 stars was not good. It was cheap($ 3) and cheaply made, little meat and lots of mayo! Who puts mayo on a Bahn Mi? Took one bite and tossed it in the garbage and drove back to Vivi’s. Happy now!

Loved their vegetarian bahn mi! The veggies and tofu was sautéed and well flavored! Will definitely go back again to try something else and the menu.

Back again second time this week. I couldn’t stop thinking about the banh mi! The crunchy but non mouth destroying bread perfectly light and soft yet crisp. I tried all the banh mis and my fave is the vegetarian. I am not a fan of tofu but the flavor is what makes me come back for more. I also had the bao and my daughter devoured the whole thing after I had a nibble. The bao has a quail egg inside which my daughter claimed dibs on. Fresh, delicious, and filling. Good price for quality ingredients.

Love love love the pork banh mi! Everything I’ve had here has been excellent and the owners are super friendly. I’ll often call ahead and pickup when the weather is crummy. I love supporting this awesome eatery!

Fresh & Delicious We go here at least once a week. I always get the«Vegan Salad». Tons of fresh vegetables with peanuts and fried garlic with a mouth watering dressing. I actually crave this salad. Its a must try — you will not be disappointed. We are so stoked they are in our neighborhood. The family that owns this cart is delightful so thats a bonus! But the food speaks for itself and keeps us coming back and back and back again We get the tofu salad rolls every once in awhile and they are delish as well.

This place rocked! Such a nice lady working the front counter and the food was outstanding. We both had chicken banh mi sandwiches and they were so tasty. Amazing deal too, 5 $ a sandwich, you can’t beat that in this town! I will be back for sure.

This place was okay. The tofu roll was PACKED with noodles and barely any tofu. The Bahn Mi was pretty good though!

I really enjoy these bahn mis. To me the baguette needs to be good and warm and crispy on the outside. The vegetables have to have just the right level of spiciness and the meat, especially the pork needs to be tender with excellence sauce. The food at this cart is top notch. I really like the owners of this cart as they obviously care very much about food.

Really delicious Pork Bánh mì! Warm sweet flavorful pork, plentiful crunchy veggies. Bread was big enough, a good balance of crunchy and soft. The only thing missing was more of a spicy element.

Another food truck in Portland. I ordered a pork Bang Mi. The roll was crisp on the outside and soft in. Pork was done well an the veggies were plentiful. Here is why I didn’t give them a great rating… I lived in Vietnam two years. This is not really good Vietnamese food. While I understand that NW Americans do not have the same palette, the meat while tasty seemed to be flavored with American«curry» powder. The dicon and carrot was not pickled thoroughly, and there was not the slightest hint of spice besides the single strip of jallapeño.

Great food, specially the fried shrimp, with a batter like my grandma’s and delicious onions. Thanks!

I ordered the curry noodles and it was not good. It had only a small portion of grisly chicken. It had a lot celery, though. I had their meat spring roll and the meat was lacking. My partner ordered a Nem Bahn Mi and was good. This is why I’m giving it 3 stars and not 2. The sandwich was good but not amazing.

Really I don’t know why I didn’t give them 5 stars to begin with. I’m here at least once a week. The food is addicting and the owners are awesome. Come support a food cart that is good enough to last.

Rolls were filled with generous amounts of meat and fresh veggies. The banh mi had fresh bread and the grilled pork inside is very flavorful. Delicious.

After hearing about this place from my co-worker/friend who is Vietnamese, I had to try it. She’s been to many Vietnamese restaurants, her brother owns one, and yet she still eats here very often… and I can see why. The bun bo hue was delicious, and it was a very good portion. I ordered mine spicy but for me, it could have been spicier(of course that’s up to personal preference). There was a good amount of meat and it just tasted overall delicious. This is the best bun bo hue I’ve had in Portland. The smoothies were good too. I’ve had a few avocado smoothies, and this was the best one I’ve had as well. The mango smoothie tasted just like the fruit, and he said the mango was fresh. I’ll definitely be back, and my friend said the chicken phở is really good. Perhaps that’ll be next.
